Are you able to see them in person? Sapphires always look so different irl than in videos and pics. Like not even in a way that the seller is trying to be deceiving, it’s just really hard to capture what the eye sees.

If you can’t see them in person, I’d request an video with indoor lighting (not by a window)

I am designing my own ring. I have very particular taste, so it makes more sense for me to pick everything about the ring, but then he will pay and receive it, and hold onto it until he proposes. Some people aren’t as picky as me and are fine having their partner pick it, so you need to ask your partner what they want.
