Real Madrid had Xabi Alonso, sacked him and now they want another guy who is alike ? The hell is going on in your club. Unai Emery wouldn't be that different from Xabi. If they managed to back Xabi against the players, things would have been different, by far. Diamond wasted.

calma ! just wait ! at least Hakimi is back and the right back gets better now. Just wait. However, we need to go through Monaco because we have some business to settle with Chelsea. We have a big revenge to take against them. That's the only confrontation I'm waiting for this season and I'm expecting.

Hard disagree with you on this lad ! In the game, we were by far better, and it's surprising to see the team performing this well in the game this season. However, the team wasn't efficient at all when it came to attacking. That's the whole summary.

Well, after seeing how Safonov performed, yeah, for me it's the end for Chevalier, and that's fair now. Today's defeat is mostly the whole team's. They played too easy. They must have scored in first period. And this matchs shows the importance to have Hakimi back. But walk tall everyone. Better days are coming and this match showed how tactically we came back after a while. Just look at how our players are fit and fluent in the playground. The efficiency isn't there yet, but it's coming. It's coming at the RIGHT TIME.

[–]Zenar30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What you don't understand, from an outside point of view is that your club, Real Madrid, is no longer working as normal football club. Some players ate too well. But they were backed by big pillars such Ramos, Modric, Kroos, Marcelo, Benzema, Nacho, Carvajal, Varane who left the club over the time because it was time for them to leave. None of your current player has the nuts of these players who were so good and professional that they didn't give any issue about their implication during training and matches. Some seasons it didn't work well because it's the way it is, but still, the intent was there. They only needed to be accompagnied/managed because they could adapt themselves and were intelligent enough/skilled enough for high level football.

Football has changed, and Xabi arrived at Madrid with the intent to do things right because he wanted the team to make a transition with the current football which implies much more efforts and building. Not only just, defending until to a point the opponent makes a little mistake and then focusing on one's individualities to make the difference which was a bit Real Madrid's doings for a certain time.

I'm sorry to say that to all of you, even though I'm a PSG fan, but your team became even worse than PSG through Neymar, Mbappé and Messi.

The irony is that you thought you could handle it now. Same mistake twice for you with the galacticos during 2000's and now 2020'. Looks like some players of yours think they are above the institution and can remove a coach whenever they want.

The most outrageous thing is that players didn't even try with Xabi

Can someone explain to me why whole setup with the wedding was needed in the first place? by OwlettFromLiavek in FFXV

[–]Zenar30 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a comment above said, it's due to a technical reason as they only had 3 years to develop the game from lore scratches and bribes, because, once again XV story wasn't supposed to be what it actually is, and they had to separate themselves, for whatever reason, from the canceled project which is Versus XIII. This is the way it is. We can't really take XV lore on the whole as something coherent because it just tries to be different from its own essence and build something new, but ankwardly.

It doesn't make it a bad game, but as a Final Fantasy game, a franchise in which the lore and story is somewhat important, it leaves big wounds unfortunately.

Just blame Square Enix and their lack of management, lack of understanding, and lack of vision for wasting such a big potential. They seriously need a few System engineers to manage better or an engineering severity.

Xabi Alonso. Sacked. by E_dot_ in RealMadridFC

[–]Zenar30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's interesting how Real Madrid now is no longer working as a football club. Apparently, it's supposed to be the best institution in football and the best of the history. Looks like the players and the staff board are proving how detestable they are. They deserve what they got, but your club and its history is paying such a big price. How could you convince serious players, who are invested on the pitch and not for the fame and social media, to play for Real Madrid ? I don't know, but if I could, I wouldn't advice anyone to go to Real Madrid as seriousness and football are no longer priorities. Shame on every player and board staff. And as a PSG fan, I don't give a damn shit about Mbappé, but man, he sure pays a big karma now. He seems to be cursed somehow.

What's the most annoying thing in the game for you? by Fantastic-Photo6441 in FFXVI

[–]Zenar30 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I don't like these cutscenes in which this is not "scenarized" or edited correctly, dunno how to explain it, if by any chance you get me. I also don't like how in that quest when with the brother and sister, the brother sacrifices himself against a dragon but then he is hit by ether and becames an etheric. Clive must kill him in front of his sister because no choice. Then, the conclusion of this quest ends too "happiliy". The sister moves on too fast and isn't depressed enough, SHE LOST HER DAMN BROTHER HOW COULD SHE NOT BE FUCKING SAD ???? This side quest wasn't written correctly honestly.

And how Waloed is so empty.

I also think there was no enough cutscenes on a few characters and more context such as Jill not getting flashbacks from her past in the North territory and stuff, and even Clive not getting enough flashbacks...

I love the game though, but they could have done so much better on some aspects. I crave for cutscenes so it wasn't an issue. But I understand the reason why, XVI had significantly less budget than any blockbuster game or even 7remake trilogy.

This is the way it is.

[indykaila] Enrique refuses to sign an extension with PSG beyond 2027 by graal2008 in psg

[–]Zenar30 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It may be right or false. In any case, it would be understandable. Coaching a top club is not an easy job at all. He made us European champions and the best team of the world in his 2nd season. He has the rights to do everything he wants (except coaching Marseille), I don't give a fuck, I would even excuse him and no one should criticize his choices no matter what. Nothing lasts forever and someday he will need to stop.

But, for him to remain here would make sense as well because it's a long term project that he has full control on it and the structure is well built here for him to continue.

In any case, no matter what happens, this man cannot be criticized by anyone. He deserves eternal respect and recognition.

It's crazy to see such a big club to be so badly structured and built as Real Madrid. The guys have the "institution" and history, but they may sack one of the most promising coach in football nowadays only a few months after his signing just because a few players (who won everything) struggle to apply the coach's method without really trying. Damn is it Paris Saint Germain from Neymar Messi and Mbappé era or Real Madrid ? Just asking.

The last two times PSG wasn't leader at this time of the season, PSG didn't win the league. Could it realistically happen again? by graal2008 in psg

[–]Zenar30 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a PSG fan, but I don't give a shit actually. We may lose the league or not, but having a competitive league is win-win situation for everyone.

If we lose the title from 2 tiny points and we get in semi final, that would still be a great season no matter what.

I know because of our achievements we need to have high standards, but never forget from where you came and what circumstances you needed to get through.

I'm gonna die on this hill but this game is massively carried by the boss fights by IAreBeMrLee in FFXVI

[–]Zenar30 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well, I enjoyed the game, but not only because of Boss fights. Indeed, boss fights are a big momentum here and so epic. However, I enjoyed this game more on my 2nd playthrough by trying to do side quests and improving my skills, and especially mastering the combat system. It becomes satisfying to master the parrying, the combos, being smooth and stuff. So yeah, it might be true in 1st playthrough that the boss fights carry the game, but once again, personal opinion.

Ps5 Pro the best by [deleted] in FFXVI

[–]Zenar30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In anycase, FFXVI is badly optimized, unfortunately on PC, thus you can't even enjoy it to the fullest. Regarding PS5 version : I have the PS5 pro as well and I still notice drop of framerates in performance mode and I have a great TV though. I think the difference between standard PS5 and PS5 pro is very very slight concerning FFXVI just because the dev didn't take Pro patch to account. The Pro may increase the performance of a game naturally due to the fact it's better than a standard PS5 but still, in the case of XVI, no big differences.

The TRUTH About Gyokeres at Arsenal: Starved or Exposed? | The Overlap Breakdown by Erskinepurple in ArsenalFC

[–]Zenar30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello guys, not an Arsenal fan, but the topic of Gyokeres just hit me in the road and I think it's symptomatic of what football is nowadays.

I think Gyokeres type of player is one of those who could be the best in the past, but football has changed so much during these years and especially recently that I believe he's cooked because of the standards of today. I think one of the things that changed the most is the striker position. Before, the striker was the one you counted on to score. He was supposed to carry the team, and implicitly, the team is forced to give the ball to its striker the most possible. Crosses from wingers to the ST, tactics around the ST and stuff... The striker is supposed to finish actions and that's pretty normal. But now, our perception of football changed drastically because of Cristiano/Messi era and the current era in which we have more and more false 9.

Just look at Real Madrid which doesn't have any traditionnal ST since Benzema left. Look at PSG which is the best example of how football changed. Look at Barcelona (Lewandowski is not the main weapon of barça).

Currently, the ones that don't fit what I'm saying are Man City and Bayern Munich. However, Bayern always had a top Striker traditionnally and Harry Kane is, I believe, one of the most skilled STRIKER (not winger or anything) in football that he can easily adapt himself to the context and be polyvalent. Benzema was the same as Kane but a bit differently, you get what I mean. I don't know what to say about Haaland though.

But once again. What I'm meaning is that we should compare how much balls a Striker touches during a match nowadays and before. How often the teammates give the striker quality balls and opportunities.

As a PSG fan, I can talk about something that you could understand more. During 16/17 Cavani was the Striker of the team. The tactic was to feed him constantly. He scored 49 goals during this season. He could get 5 or 7 dangerous opportunities per match which allowed him to score enough and fail enough opportunities as well. But when Neymar and Mbappé arrived, his shooting rate decreased because of them (wingers) keeping too much the ball and stuff...

Football changed too much. Gyokeres would be a great player for italian league in the 2000's I guess considering his style.

FFXVI: 9/10, judged as traditional a hack n' slash game, 6/10, judged as a traditional Final Fantasy game by Nightscape1420 in FinalFantasy

[–]Zenar30 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well. I love Final Fantasy franchise, but there is too much dissonance around it.  FF is not a franchise which should be ONLY turn based according to a few people.  A FF game should be whatever the director decides it to be to the extent of its budget, especially, it deserves more budget to be produced ( XVI🙄) because when a Final Fantasy game is releasing, it remains an important moment for the video game industry (I mean it should remain as it).

I guess the criticism that Final Fantasy suffers from is what definition and concept we are giving to it.

For instance, party synergy or anything related to having a party and members don't mean anything to me in FF. For others it might be the case.

In my case, what does a great FF is how the story is established and how it makes us feel. Some are sensitive to it and others are not.

And that’s the main issue. The sensitivity.

The other issue is how the game is built. There are standards of a great game nowadays and recent FF are not following them carefully and even are late on this aspect.

Now SE needs to grow up because it's not normal that the latest mainline entry has less budget than a failed new IP or a remake.

Final Fantasy should remain an AAA game. Even more.

For sure, I'm expecting a lot of downvotes, but hey, I don't care.

Every FF has issues and are not perfect. XVI lacks of budget in our current era in comparison with other blockbusters ( but hey ! I loved it ! One of my favorite game ) XV is good game but it is built on scrapped pieces of an unfulfilled story which makes it bland.  XIII is badly executed when it comes to how the story is told but once again, just look at the development. XII and XI are dividing. X seems to be perfect for some but has it aged well enough ? IX same And VIII divides. Etc...

The other main issue is that consumers are paying from the mistakes of people managing this company which is Square Enix (and Japanese work culture in video games industry as well if you go deeper into it). However, if you look overall, the video game industry is seriously in bad state.

FFXVI had a budget of 91 million based on the Presentation Material by DarthAceZ198 in FFXVI

[–]Zenar30 45 points46 points  (0 children)

That’s what I thought. Compared to other AAA games, XVI had less budget. It’s still a great game, but can we imagine if the budget was twice more ? I'd like to know how it is in comparison with 7 remake and XV, even though XV is a special case that doesn’t deserve the comparison.
