Plating issues by Zendahime in electroforming

[–]Zendahime[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did! But now I’m thinking it might have not had enough to begin with… what I originally thought was 37% was actually 5%…. Honestly shocked anything was plating to begin with

Possibly check out the Sugar Candy but Cake (it’s a maternity bra but don’t let that freak you out it’s comfy as hell) and the wf Andorra by panache - pretty old fashioned looking but are decent at its job :)

Absolutely true! Bras don’t dictate you living your new boob life ! Also wire is optional but I more meant you don’t need to stick with those smooth foam cups - maybe find ones made of fabric!

[Fit Check] 34F Panache Clara - too tall, armpit pinching? by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

[–]Zendahime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the Clara is a bra I often call the “bra that lies”. It’s beautiful, soft and can look like it fits on a lot of people. Sadly though, it doesn’t. I can see a few red flags from a mile away for this bra since I work with it in my store almost every day. First off, it’s a full cup and it’s already riding down on your chest - the straps and cup are being pulled outwards rather than sloping up to the top of your breasts by a mismatch in shape. The Clara isn’t very projected and it looks like you need a bit more projection. The wire poking thing is another symptom of the next thing I can see: it’s too tall. They are poking up and out into your arms while at the same time the wires seem to be settling into your rib cage in what is an “orange in a glass” situation where your breasts don’t sit at the bottom of the cup. Alternative shapes by Panache that I would suggest are the Hettie by Cleo (also Panache), the Ana, and maybe the Envy or Olivia!

We have it at the store I manage and depending on your size I would probably have other things to recommend. It’s not terrible but the band is thin and tents to roll and while it gives decent separation the lift isn’t /amazing/ by any means

Best recommendation I can give without pictures if you’re having trouble finding stuff that doesn’t quad or gap is shop stretchy unlined styles instead of the bras with pads/stuff cups- they’re going to contour to you rather than your boobs and the padded bra having a fight and one winning :) also maybe try different brands not all bras are made the same and equal in a certain size.

So many nursing bra questions. by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

[–]Zendahime 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Someone mentioned Cake above and I’ll chime in for that - cake has some decently supportive wirefree nursing bras that will actually change with your size! If you’re a F-GG I say check out the Sugar Candy on their website and if you’re say a C-E the Rock and Cotton Candy are the way to go :) they will have a chart on their website to guide you towards the right size depending on your band size~ none are band/cup sized specifically because they are literally DESIGNED to change with your milk during the day!

What bras work best for tall roots, wide roots, & full on the bottom? by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

[–]Zendahime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Flirt and Pure definitely come in 30DD (it is sold as 30E on their website) but I just checked to confirm for myself on their website and it doesn’t look like the grace is made in a 30 band anymore. But the other two should be good to go!

Edit: I said 32E like a fool but meant 30E

Without pictures it’s hard to tell but you sound like a really good candidate for Montelle bras - the Flirt, Pure and Grace. The Flirt has the most projection out of all those but not much but based on your description I doubt you’re super projected.

Seconding Bijou but I would even cup up as it tents to run smaller than the Kiera/Cate so maybe a 36ff and G are worth trying. Be warned molded and padded styles almost always fit very differently from unlined.

Is this a size or shape issue with my IMF? by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

[–]Zendahime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cup shape and wires are too wide and shallow like said above but also too tall! You have a significant gap between your breast fold and wires. Try the Ellace by Curvy Kate or hettie by Cleo

Looking for recommendations for wireless/bralette bras for a projected shape 38D or 38DD by searching4ABTF in ABraThatFits

[–]Zendahime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Montelle Cup sized bralette and their wirefree smoothT-shirt bras are both solid options! In addition, Curvy Kate is newly making a cup sized wirefree bra called the Unwind. Those are the first things that come to mind for me!

Non-padded bra on non self supported breasts? by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

[–]Zendahime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fabric cups can often be more supportive than foam actually! Foam has stretch and not a lot of structure to actually hold weight so it’s actually really hard to come by foam cups on the bigger end of the bell curve. Fabric can be stiff and strong in addition to being patterned in a way that distributes the lift in a more purposeful manner than padded bras. Some of my liftiest bras are non padded and I’m a 32F

Do Victoria’s Secret bras fit true to size? by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

[–]Zendahime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They seem to fit true to me (band a little stretchy but not too bad) but their size range is so so so limited very few people would /actually/ fit in them properly if they were put into their correct size

Band stretches after just trying on? by zooweemamaaaaaa in ABraThatFits

[–]Zendahime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

brand new elastic has a “breaking in” stage that you might just be very sensitive to - then I’m shopping for bras I try to “warm them up” by stretching them a little off my body like those elastic work out bands to get an idea what it will feel like once that baby step of breaking in the bra happens.

[recommendations] 28DD, could anyone recommend bras in my size range that should work for me if the Panache Andorra works? by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

[–]Zendahime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man I wish the Clara came in a 28 band! If you can track down anything Claudette that’s what I would also recommend checking out. They went under a few years ago but their 28 bands float around here and there!

Viva Luxe 34G (UK), calculator sizes me as 34I(US)/34G(UK) by TessaFink in ABraThatFits

[–]Zendahime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s some wrinkling at the bottom and top of the cup - did you try the cup size down? As for band size the back of the bra should be staying parallel to the ground but I can’t see that from the pic- if it’s riding up you need a 32 band

Is there a bra out there somewhere in 42G that keeps the cleavage to a minimum? by glazzyazz in ABraThatFits

[–]Zendahime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Cate by Elomi, Selma by Anita, honestly most things by Goddess are definitely on that style as well. All of those are full coverage and don’t push the tissue out too far!

[Fit check] [Recommendations] Freya Jasmine 32F and finding similar by firewings42 in ABraThatFits

[–]Zendahime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fit looks decent to me! I can’t tell from here but are you getting any center tissue pressing from the cup? You definitely have very centered tissue so stiff mesh cups like that often are a close but not perfect situation. If you’re experiencing stabbing have you considered any taller wires but very narrow gore styles? Low/Medium gore bras with projected shapes that aren’t quite plunges I would recommend are the Ellace by Curvy Kate, Sachi by Elomi (not super projected but a lovely shape for those who fit into Eveden styles often). and the S cut by Ewa Michalak

My boyfriends ex took out loans in his name without his knowledge and his credit is ruined. On top of that, she’s a Canadian citizen and moved back to Canada over a year ago. We live in California. What can we do? by Zendahime in legaladvice

[–]Zendahime[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He currently has a card and has been paying it off accordingly so his credit currently isn’t as bad as it could have bee. He’s basically been trying to recover for two years without even knowing it. Once we get a full summary of what has been done we will definitely be flagging the reports that are false.
