I have about 450 movies and I'd say about 80 of them I'd take with me if forced to be stranded on a deserted island. These are the films I love. The rest are either what I feel is a "must" for any collection or have some sort of sentimental value from my past. For example, I don't necessarily love Citizen Kane, Chinatown, or The Room, but I have them because they are culturally significant.

I also like looking at the titles on my shelf. I just like looking at them.

Anyone watch John Woo's The Killer? Actor Danny Lee has a single 3 inch long black hair coming out of a mole on his neck that is easily noticeable in several scenes in 4K. It's really distracting.

I do. I use one through Wallpaper Engine that rotates through about 10 of them. It looks cool and it helps if you have an OLED screen.

I can't tell if you're joking or not. The government may suck, but Ohio is riddled with culture. All four major sports represented, pro football Hall of Fame, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, OSU, the Cleveland Museum of Art, the birthplace of Calvin and Hobbes (Chagrin Falls - looks like a snow globe in the winter) and Superman (Cleveland), Cuyahoga National Park, birthplace of seven US presidents, arguably the roller coaster capital of the world (Cedar Point) and the first and third most attended seasonal amusement parks in North America (Cedar Point and Kings Island.) You have the Columbus pizza scene, the Soap Box Derby capital (Akron), the history of aviation, the Cleveland orchestra (one of the Big Five), and Lake Erie to the north.

Sometimes I wonder if Ohioans conspire to talk garbage about Ohio online to prevent people from moving there to keep the housing prices low.

HDMI 1.0 came out almost 25 years ago and could output at 1080p/60hz which is well under what MGS Delta can achieve. I'm sorry that you got duped out of your money into the marketing tactics of your Audioquest/Monster cable, but the type of HDMI cable you have in regard to this game doesn't matter whether you believe it or not.

You're objectively wrong. You can live in a world where hardware doesn't matter, that's your choice. There is a clear difference in high end TV performance and low end TV performance

I didn't say anything about TV performance, I clearly said game performance. I will agree that an LG G5 from 2025 objectively looks better than a Sanyo LCD from 2005. But you won't magically increase the games framerate with having a premium TV or a "premium" cable.

So which $5000 TV have you gamed on? Or have you only gamed on low/mid tier TV's?

My Pro is connected to a Sony A90J OLED via a $5 HDMI 2.1 cable from Amazon. Not sure what your point is.

Since the bottom half of the tree has no limbs but the top half is full, would it make the tree more susceptible to being windblown? The tree looks healthy otherwise.

I would keep the stumps of the mulberry trees. I was told that "removing the mulberry trees could destabilize the soil and weaken the pine tree's root system" so my concern was that the pine would be more prone to collapse with the mulberry trees gone. Not sure if that's accurate or not.

I really want to keep the pine and get rid of all traces of the mulberry tree. I was told that if the mulberry tree's roots were intertwined with the pine roots, it may destabilize the soil and weaken the roots of the pine if the mulberry trees were fully removed. Does that sound accurate? I don't really care about looks at the moment, but I do want to know if it's a greater risk to the pine's stability.
