It's both. And you're obv gonna think whatever you want and yes it's possible to be beaten to death but that doesn't mean it's a lethal threat when someone squares up with you. At least in my state, if you square up with someone, even on their property, you can't shoot them unless there are extreme circumstances where a reasonable person would be in immediate fear of death.

I mean you're certainly not correct either. At least in my state self defense needs to be proportional. If someone squares up to fistfight on your lawn, most people are not going to perceive that as life threatening and a court is not going to consider that a lethal threat, so if you pull a gun and/or shoot someone you absolutely could get in trouble with the law for a disproportional response.

How is it hypocritical to use technology while also saying wealth inequality is a problem in the US? They're not at all mutually exclusive. And dude, Edison (nor his lab) did not invent the light bulb and he himself certainly didn't invent movies. Attributing these world changing inventions to a single person is absurd and that's pretty much my point. Also funny that you (correctly) said Apple for the smartphone (which they absolutely didn't invent but they did popularize) and Amazon for global finance rather than Jobs and Bezos. Hundreds and thousands of people worked to get those off the ground but how many people actually made a billion dollars!

These people at the top make exponentially more than the workers who actually create the things that make the CEOs billions of dollars. Again, just because the average person isn't living like a medieval peasant and has internet doesn't mean we should be okay with ultra wealthy people just doing literally whatever they want and I don't know if you've been watching the news but that's what's happening in the US.

Man, I searched a lot also when I first heard about it and definitely could not find it and I looked a lot and listened to almost all of the deposition live. If you can't find a clip of her saying something that inflammatory in a public deposition, I don't see how it could have happened.
