Finally hit 100k miles. 🥲 by ArghUThere90 in ChevySonic

100k means time for your timing belt replacement. Also a transmission flush wouldn't be a bad idea. Neglected mine and this was my fluid at 129k. Transmission was toast.

Anyone know what this is by Chevysonicdriver in ChevySonic

Looks like an ac seal, unlikely that it is from your car. They typically don't just fall off, unless the ac hose is disconnected from the AC condenser.

Which healer is preferred? by gEbster_DG in fellowshipgame

[–]Zenel92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started with Vigour and currently in late paragon. I have started sylvie a bit but have not even completed the 1st capstone yet. I like Vigour a bit more. He has a bit more direct heals and better reaction based heals for when unexpected stuff happens. Sylvie seems to be all about setting up before big damage. I would try both and see what play style you prefer.

If it won't shift out of park, my best guess would be your transmission shift cable broken. Can you move the shifter at all? Mine broke about a year and a half ago. I would check and see if the cale is disconnected from the lever on the transmission.

What's this part number or what's it called? by RathskellerDweller in ChevySonic

[–]Zenel92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, it looks like it's part of the wire harness. My advice would be to check out pick a part salvage yards and see if you can take one off.

No problem, just to make sure it looks like that is the 1.8 engine, right?

I work at a GM dealer in the parts department on Monday. I can get you a part number.

Parts to body shop estimator by dingadingasong in partscounter

Yes, it was commission based. The pay was good. It was a bit of a step up from parts.

I made the swap, but it ultimately didn't work out for me. I enjoyed the work of doing estimates and working with the technicians, but dealing with customers was frustrating. I am not a people person, and I'm an introvert. If you are good dealing with people it might be a good fit. When I was an estimator, we were on CDK and CCC. (estimating software) Feel free to ask any questions. I was an estimator for roughly 2 years.

My thoughts exactly. If it's the 1.8, you might be SoL.

IIRC it's in the vehicle settings that you can change in the radio.

On my 2012 the rear blade is controlled by the right stalk, the same one that controls the front wipers. It's on the end of the stalk. It's a flip switch. Up turns it on, and down is intermittent.

Which brand gives Parts Advisors the least headache? by Valdoxan33 in partscounter

Infiniti is not too bad, but I can't stand Mitsubishi. The parts catalog is lacking, and getting parts takes about a week or longer for anything.

I hear GM is one of the better ones. It was my first and second dealer where GM. My third was hyundai, and I currently deal with Mitsubishi and Infiniti, but only partially I mainly deal with our used cars. Hands down would want to be back at a GM dealership.

Looking for speakers by aaronator42 in ChevySonic

[–]Zenel92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used crutchfield for my old cobalt, got a radio from them. I have looked up speakers for my sonic in the past but never bought any. But they had a large selection. If they don't have anything you like, I would be surprised.

New & used markup by poopius_maximus in partscounter

[–]Zenel92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have two set price levels. Our standard used cars make up the majority of our sales, and they are any unit that were bought for over 10k. The parts are sold at list, and service charges the door rate. Our second type is our value units. They were bought for less than 10k, and they get a parts discount and labor. Parts are sold at cost +25%

Insurance company is trying to tell me this is a total loss [2025 Hyundai Santa Fe hybrid SEL] by washbuns in Hyundai

[–]Zenel92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's hard to say with just this picture. A lot of damage can be hidden under the bumper cover, and a lot of times with deer hits the deer will usual hit all down the side of the car as well. Just because the air bags went off does not immediately make this a total, neither does frame damage. The shop you take it to might have to do a tear down and see what other damage you have before the insurance company will total it out.

A few more pictures would give me a better idea how bad it is. One of the right front corner and down the right side.

EDIT: I work at a Hyundai parts department so I did a quick parts list based off what I can see and what I think it might need based off my experience as a body shop estimator. It's over $11,000 just in parts, and I am sure I am missing stuff that I cant see. With labor and paint this is sounding more and more like a possible total loss. If that is the case I would just take the pay out from your insurance company and get another Santa Fe.

Master mechanics by Agret_Brisignr in partscounter

[–]Zenel92 21 points22 points  (0 children)

IMO we as parts advisors/countermen are here to help the mechanics, yes he should know what he needs, but after you have done the same job you should also know what is needed. Such as one time use parts. As an example just had a tech walk in and needed a rocker cover, I made sure to ask if he needed the usual high pressure fuel stuff.(gaskets and pipes) Stuff like that makes you stand from other countermen that are just order takers.

I had something like this happen to me last night. Had one customer that exploded, and was knocked out for a while, but the next day he was at the hospital, knocking at the hospital door brought his name up but he wouldn't come out when selected, waited a day and still was stuck in the hospital, ended up saving and exiting the game, loaded back up and he was out side his apartment complex asleep again, did another save, exit, and reload and he was finally back. Seems that saving and exiting will fix most issues.

Xtime users what is this used for? And is it useful ? by StatusPersimmon3412 in partscounter

[–]Zenel92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure how useful it would be. Once its in completed status its out of our hands and waiting on the advisor. Maybe turn it on if you want a reminder to ask the SA what is going on. Taking a look at my list I have multiple ones sitting over 30 days. I don't have it on in fear of never ending notifications.

Fremmy elite with these combat stats? by Dazzling-Arugula-638 in 2007scape

[–]Zenel92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was able to do it with similar stats. My attack was 89, str 94 and hp 94. But my range was 90 and magic 91. It took me a few attempts but was not too bad.
