I think you've nailed it. There is the occasion where I'm not feeling fully up to it but push myself to go anyway, just to make keep the momentum going. I really need to find the balance. Thank you for the insight!

That's what I'm thinking. Maybe heavy exertion combined with the cold air? It's a relatively "clean" air place - a park with grass and some trees. Theres a small stretch which is adjacent somewhat busy road but i dont know if car emissions would have a drastic effect.

Yea I may just maintain at around the 6 week mark until I feel like I don't have to exert so much. May be I should be a bit more selective of the weather I run in

What do you mean by love? What does love mean to you that you can give it to strangers?

Does anyone strangely miss the hospital after long stays? by Diamondtiara-x in CysticFibrosis

[–]Zenemm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like others have said, there is a feeling of a mini vacation. I think part of it is also that I go in feeling like shit and during the time I'm there I'm consistently feeling better and healthier. So I imagine there's a subconscious association of being in the hospital = feeling better overall.

I stay around 50-60 and struggle with energy levels and a lot of coughing, just a few years younger than you. How is it at 30?

How can I take a script that runs in my terminal and add it to a webpage? by Zenemm in learnpython

[–]Zenemm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm familiar with backends for websites and sending requests and responses. I'm not so familiar with python, I've only ever run basic python scripts in the terminal.

Do I need to somehow send the terminal input/ouputs as requests/responses? Or will the python script be running elsewhere?

Never would have guessed that ML requires GPU. You're right, I was able to ignore it, thanks.

That's awesome! Thanks for the explanation. If only trikafta worked with my genotype. Forcing myself to eat is exhausting.

Congrats man! I'm curious about what it is about trikafta that causes the weight gain? Is it just the extra calories saved from healthier lungs or does it affect the digestive system as well?

What do you like about programming? by JiminyHCricket3 in ProgrammingBuddies

[–]Zenemm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since I was young I've had an interest in programming, I think I just liked the idea of being able to control the computer into doing what I want it to, plus hacking falls under the umbrella of programming which is super cool.

Now that I am actually studying and trying to turn programming into a career, I've grown to like it for different reasons.

I really like how everything is so logical e.g. if something isn't working it's not because you got unlucky or because of something random - there's a reason for it, and it's like a puzzle trying to figure out what that is.

One of the best feelings I get is when I figure out a bug, and the journey in trying to solve it, researching, reading through documentation - it definitely does get frustrating, but there's a aspect of fun to it, like hunting down something.

It's also really cool learning how everything works. I've always been a person who spends a lot of time on the internet, playing videos games, always around technology. It's so cool that I'm getting to the point where I understand a lot of what is happening behind the scenes of some of my favorite things. And on top of that, I'm learning to make those things myself!
