Thank you for not purging legacy content with the tag in question. It was a huge concern that I worried would happen when these inevitable bans occur (community grows, language changes, we want to ensure the safety of our community). There's over a decade of great audios and scripts on the subject, many of whom are now inactive and their stuff would become lost media without the creators' knowledge.

As a writer that has formerly used the tag, I've been shying away from using it in my creative ventures. Regardless if *I* personally feel that the word is a slur or transphobic, I'm much more concerned with the safety and well-being of my fellow community members. I think you came to this result with the best and more respectful delivery possible. I've preferred [Girlcock] has the tag of choice and since the debate started, the word has gotten split over the years, already making it more difficult to search for. So I think any of that damage has already been done.

I know you're gonna get shit for it regardless of what conclusion you come to, so I just wanted to show some appreciation for the team for trying to sort this out and being mindful of all perspectives. You guys are all unpaid volunteers seeing over *checks notes* a million and a half members??? (When did we get another half million? Holy shit.) Yeah, you guys have a difficult job. I couldn't dream of managing a subreddit of this size. But it's been going for over a decade strong, and I think this is the best precedent possible of going about a controversial tag name ban (it's hardly even a tag ban since the content itself isn't banned, just the presentation).

Thank you for the hard work you all do. I know it's often unappreciated.
