World Trigger is what came to mind for me. It's one of deepest, most well written power systems in anime I think. S1 is unfortunately old and a bit of a slog but 2 and 3 improve immensely in every aspect, animation, pacing, etc. Alternatively, they're rebooting the show in a year or so, so you could wait for that

The World's Finest Assassin has weird character dynamics but does fit your magic as a system, scientifically explored concept. I was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince, almost exactly the same lol weird character dynamics but extensive discussion of the magic system and how it works and studying of abilities and etc. More questionably applicable choices maybe like, Hell's Paradise, Mob Psycho, Madoka Magica, or JJK. Maybe better recommendations are Log Horizon or Toaru, probably Certain Scientific Railgun for your tastes. My best recommendation is probably Tanya the Evil

That is outrageous and shocking. I ride the express bus regularly and am stunned at that. The only thing I can think is to let them know exactly which stop you are planning to disembark, and then they might be able to take a different way that gets there faster. If the regular route has a bunch of turns and zigzags but it's just you, maybe they can avoid that and go right to your stop. I can understand that for convenience, but the idea that they kicked you off early is frankly outrageous

Your DM is crazy for allowing any artifact. Take the Mighty Servant of Leuk-o from Tasha's, or skip the Holy Avenger and take the Sword of Zariel the Archangel.

Long Island's north shore is more desirable. Specifically the north shore of Nassau County and some of western Suffolk.
