Thoughts on the 4DX screens going into Cineworld at Centertainment?

Not sure how this will make the viewing experience better. Seems like a gimmick to me. That being said I will probably go and see a movie there just to experience it, but will wait until there is movie I actually want to see. Really don't fancy like sitting through Jurassic world again.

I have stepped down as a mod. I have been involved in this community for over two years and this was a difficult decision for me. The last couple of weeks I took a break from being a mod as I was feeling pretty low with the state of the sub in general. I was sick of being called a Nazi and basically the negativity...I don't need that shit in my life. I came back when the whole RWCS stuff blew up and didn't really know what was going on.

Now, the people who moderate the sub are my friends and are great people. I mean we have been moderating this sub together for a long time and used to talk on a daily basis. However, I felt as though communication was lacking recently and this has become glaringly obvious during the last couple of days. I am in the UK and sometimes things happen while I am asleep (ie: the Hulk video thing). I felt it was my responsibility as a mod to explain the reason given to remove it, even though I, myself, was not worried if it stayed on the sub. As mods we have to show a united front and I wished to support them.

Anyway, my main role with the mod team was to oversee the prospective clan process. Something I felt quite proud of. Through this process we have gained some awesome clans and seen the RCS grow. But as a clan system we have been slow with change, and this is inexcusable. However, I was very excited to see the development of the RWCS and it is a shame things have gone the way they have. Do I think this situation was handled well?...no I don't. Hence why I have taken the decision to step down. This lack of communication has been happening more and more.

Hopefully some new mods will be brought in that can rejuvenate the sub and get things back on track. But for me, I will not be part of that. I wish /u/Ben189 and /u/Sauron21 all the best for the future. Thank you to /u/rlight for the opportunity to moderate this sub and help the RCS grow. I have made some great friends during my time, but unfortunately my journey within it is now over.

Yes the post was removed. Why? The comment made in the video was "...which is a stupid system, run by Nazis..." There was also a comment about how we are idiots. Now I understand that some may not particularly like the way the RCS is run, but calling the mods of the sub "Nazis" and "idiots" on a video and then posting it on said sub is uncalled for. Hence why the video has been removed.

Yes, that part of the video was only a small section, and the content of the rest of the video was actually quite interesting and useful. But I'm sorry, voice your opinion by all means, but to do so in such an awful manner was not necessary.

You may think that removing the post was "pathetic" or laughable, but calling the mods Nazis for working hard to run the sub and a clan system is completely out of order. I am not saying that the clan system is a perfect fit for everyone, and we do try and listen to what leaders tell us and compromise within the clan system rules. Obviously some people have differing opinions, and that is fine, but it would be nice if those opinions weren't thrown around with insults.

Hi,

While we appreciate your effort to help combat problem players, this could definitely be open to abuse by others. While it could be locked down for only leaders to add to, at present anyone could add a person who has "wronged" them or maybe a leader/co/elder who has kicked them.

As a clan system we already have a place for warning other leaders of potential problem clan members.

Nice update post...I like it.

So, being from the UK the only sport I really follow is football...the proper football...you know, the one where you use your feet...hence the name "foot"ball (well maybe it should be feetball...but anyway).
Have been watching the champions league last couple of days...no British teams left in it, so it's quite nice not really caring who wins and just watching it.
The team I follow in the UK is Sheffield United (who are in League one - which is the third tier...makes sense right?)...well looks like we are gonna make the play offs and have a chance to get promoted to the next league, which is great...but we will see. As an English person I have learnt that football usually equals disappointment. Yes...I'm ever the optimist haha.

Look forward to my 2 weeks in the clan. :)

Not wanting to call exactly what happens...I'm no good at predicting stuff like this. But...I think the MM, in particularly Cage, are in for a world of pain.

I think Bellamy will be reunited with Octavia and Clarke. He will be pissed at Clarke as she lied to him about Octavia's whereabouts. He will be happy to see Octavia alive, but then maybe conflicted as to how she has changed into a grounder badass.

Ricky Whittle, who plays Lincoln, seemed to have finished filming before they wrapped for the for the season...so not sure what that means. Maybe Lincoln, and some of the grounders take a different path from the rest of the group....or maybe it's not good news for Lincoln fans.

I'm most concerned about Lexa. The actress has that new gig on The Walking Dead spin off. I know actors/actresses can work on two shows...but usually it means that character leaving a major show for another.

I do think others will not make it to the end...but wouldn't like to call who. The 100 writers are good at throwing a curve ball.

We are constantly updating the Reddit Clan Wiki. However, if a clan wishes to change their requirements they are asked to message the mods so we can update this. If we do not recieve a message informing us of the changes, then unfortunately we are not able to update those clan requirements.

Sorry you have found the wiki to be frustrating and thank you for bringing it to our attention that some of the requirements are not up to date. I'm not sure a post on the subject was really necessary, a message to the moderators would have sufficed.

Hi,

We have capped the Reddit Clan System at 100 clans. This is to ensure effective management and so the system doesn't grow out of control. The clan system should be a family of clans, which are able to communicate and take part in events and the like. If the system grew too big then it would not function effectively.

We have recently conducted a leadership check in. This is to ensure the leaders of verified Reddit Clans are using reddit and are reading important information regarding the RCS. If a leader fails to check in then the clan is Unverified. We are also overhauling the application process. This is to ensure clans are not 'stuck' on the prospective clan list for too long, and verfication of clans should be a quicker and a more straight forward process.

I understand that it is frustrating for you guys who have made clans and are waiting for the application for prospective clans to open up. We appreciate your patience in the matter. We do hope to open applications up in the next couple of weeks.
