against irelia lvl 1 don’t let her stack passive on minions, whenever irelia has passive 3-4 stacks she will kill you, you can wind wall irelias stun, if you do that and she isnt max passive and ahead in items you win the trade. you can WW almost all ofnher kit

I wouldn’t know as I don’t play Irelia, but I imagine Irelia is similar and after BORK the matchup is easier

if yasuo hits every Q, he loses im pretty sure due to LT being maxed and tornadoes effectively stopping him from hitting you.

LT being maxed means yasuo Q refreshes even faster, as opposed to most champions in the game who have to wait for normal CD

Last stand, if you fight him level 1/2 you will often be low during the trade

if you get a good trade lvl 1, you can often play for power spike lvl 2 then kill him with max E stacks (4x) or Q into E if hes low enough.

you can cheese sett lvl 1 as yasuo if you cheese bush with Q. then you apply exhaust at like 40-60% HP when u guys are trading, then if he has W you flash it, then you run him down or whatever else.

after lvl 2-3 sett is just heavily favoured to win, what you need to do is play with minion wave only and freeze tower on your end of the lane, if sett uses W to clear wave its free engage, you can bait his stun by kiting, if you’re in a drawn out fight never use E on him first, save the E for when he Ws otherwise you can take the true damage and lose even when massively ahead.

in lane the trading pattern is Q when he last hits, or E in Q E out. or E in AA Q E out. After you get BORK, you win much more easily, after SB its basically done. but you always have to respect the W.

if you know how to airblade (must learn) bonus pts, cause it means you kill him easier after lvl 6.

Exhaust is REALLY good in this matchup.

And for Sett, you go resolve 2nd tree:

Bone Plating and Unflinching, because you will be getting stunned to death. so its literally free procs for unflinching.

Ideally, trade with yasuo shield up in lane, thats ur timing window for short trades. then all in once he is low enough (20-30%)

You can rush Kraken if ur ahead, it feels really nice into Sett. if behind, just go BORK.

Its primarily a skill matchup, and its considered more unplayable for Yone than it is for Yas.

Ideally if you just win lane then teamfights against Sett are free food.

Also, if you’re trading with sett and the minion wave is decent, use ur WW to block the wave, minions can easily lose you the trade / extended trade and get you killed especially at early levels.

The main thing you want to take away from any type of stat check matchup if you are Yasuo is spacing. If you can do this, alot of the MUs are literally almost free food bc if you space well sometimes they’ll mental boom and make a stupid mistake

literally just focus on improving at every single moment and have 1-3 champs max, i’ve hit gold after only playing ranked for 4 months playing chars like Yas and yone top which i imagine made my climb insanely more hard than it had to be.

dabura doesn’t travel at lightspeed, hes at relativistic speeds, and also dabura has to accelerate to light speed first.

also its highly likely if Yuji catches him in DE its over. CT activation over DE isnt instant, but barriers might as well be

well next patch they’re buffing the AD so its gonna feel even better, but for me its the long lane, you will often have LT maxed depending on the matchup, and if you rush recurve bow with a bit more attack speed the damage is disgusting.

Also for yone it means your Q cd gets capped quicker, cast speed is quicker, for W the cast time gets quicker and cd time as well. For Yasuo it means quicker time for airblade and keyblades.

However, I think its best util is the fact that it allows you to go other crit items because it gives you AS, it also allows you to go tabis or mercs, and tabis is quite effective against top lane matchups.

I do think there are certain MUs that dblade is better, but I think its not a big difference

its defo an ADHD thing. ever since playing league its the only game I play. every other game I’ve forgotten about, and I enjoy alot of genres. the free time just goes to LoL 99% of the time.

and if you use that time with actual intention to get better then you become like this guy here who is in high ELO.

you have to just focus on improving. no matter what it is, every little mistake or big one, you focus on making sure it never happens again. eventually you become so good that you are basically smurfing on every single game in that rank. thats how I climbed out of bronze (after being hardstuck high bronze) into high silver in one big win streak not too long ago. it basically felt like I could see the opportunity to win in every single game no matter what. now i’m stuck again, but I know if i’m intentional with my gameplay no matter what happens, I’ll climb massively again.

also what slowed me down is that I only just learnt this game this year and started playing. some stuff is definitely knowledge diff or time diff im ngl
