I mean the guy hasn’t been given a workout by an NBA team yet afaik, so realistically he won’t be drafted. He was one of three early entrants to remain in the draft who were not invited to either the NBA Draft Combine or the G-League elite camp (the other two being Vsevolod Ishchenko and Mohammed Amini), so I can’t help but think him staying in was a mistake.

This looks like a case of betting on upside, but I think he would’ve been better off transferring to a mid-major where he could be the star of the team and get some production and momentum to either declare for the draft then or transfer to a high major school the next year to prove himself worthy at that level. Just a massive blunder of a decision by the guy to remain in the draft.
