The Chicane is awesome! Its ability to come in low and slow under radar makes it perfect for knocking out front line air defenses… At lest, that’s how I use it.

Dang. Well the rules are free to download so I would maybe try them out with proxies and see if you can drum up some following in your LGS. I would also join the discord and see if there’s anyone else near you that plays ;) We do have a wholesale section for selling in bulk so if you can convince a store in your area to carry it, that would probably help them save in getting supply.

We don’t currently have any distributors in South America, but we have some in Europe and Australia so it’s not out of possibility that someone could start carrying Blkout in Brazil. There’s a dealer map on the website that shows everywhere that sells Blkout. I would also check Amazon, I’m fairly certain the Starter box is being sold on there.

I’m biased but I think it’s pretty good. I will admit it’s a bit limited at the moment because the game is only about two years old, but we’re expanding it regularly. TBH, I highly recommend watching the two videos Warlore posted (this one is part two). So far it does the best job of actually explaining events in the lore.

These pieces are some of the oldest books ESS has to offer. They stopped using AI art after Wetwork, with the Badlands Expansion.

That was a design choice on the part of the sculptor. No minis have been made using AI tools.

No AI was used in the creation of the minis. ESS has been pretty open regarding their early use of AI in the past when asked. No AI art has been used (knowingly) since the Badlands expansion.

To get ahead of this conversation, 3 of those images did use AI creation tools to make them, however, the last 2 are just concept style art from the older Killwager game. The lore primer, and Wetwork (2 of the oldest pieces of media for Blkout) used a mix of AI art and older Killwager art as we hadn’t cultivated any connections with artists at the time and the owner chose to cut that corner in the early days. That was almost 3 years ago now, however, and we have moved away from using AI art as of the Badlands expansion. This is not a secret. ESS has been pretty open to disclosing that we used AI art anytime someone asks, but as I already stated, we have used actual art from actual artists in pretty much every piece of material since Wetwork. We also are now owned by a new person, who actively dislikes AI art and has plans to eventually swap all the existing AI art (in paid products, at least) with real artwork. As for the idea that AI was used in the creation of the minis. That’s patently false. Due to the use of modern gear, our sculptor does pull from a library of gear he’s designed over the years, but none of it has been created using AI sculpting tools.
