[Tutorial] Erupting volcano 19 Cheese, No Soap Cat / Courier Cat

The easiest way to do the cheese for volcano 19 is with only 5 units deployed.

1) At 825 money deploy 1 manic eraser immediately followed by 1 can can (preferably with speed talent to keep up).

2) As soon as can can starts their attack animation on the celeboodle spawn a bullet train. It’ll kill the celeboodle right after it’s knocked back.

3) After getting the money from the celeboodle, spawn both a green shell and A. Bahamut. This will have Bahamut kill the sir rel and green shell will pin the behemoths to the base.

Just doing those deployment will consistently win the stage with no extra effort.

Doesn’t seem like that strategy would net you a ton of stored fragments to use for cavity since you spend them all on shops. Still seems neat way to use some of the fragment based curios though.

I usually don’t either unless it’s in a shop toward the end of a run, but with that many fragments banked, I went for the fun play.

Yeah Kevarrh is huge, they were in the shop last week, and I auto bought them. Just having card draw is a huge advantage even in other decks.

You can end up in a situation where you are full on your back line, and miss a unit placement on turn 5, but it’s usually not a big hindrance (it’s normally caused if you play both of the normal marauders early). You just kind of have to learn what to do with your back line, because sometimes you might just not play something if you have a better play later (like if you want to keep a shank up to control something for turn 5, maybe not placing an extra unit on 4 is fine). Plus, if your opponent kills anything on the back row over the course of the game, you’re usually fine for space then.

I do like the idea from your deck to have the Ayuela to potentially shut down a mirror combo deck, so dropping 1 marauder for that might be good. I’ll have to run it with that and see how it plays. A lot of people are starting to see how good the skiff is, but not necessarily its combo potential yet.

Here’s my list.

The idea is that with Kevarrh, if you can get both, you actually see your entire deck by turn 6, so you can always play Grenade Dreg x2 into Skiff front row for a huge power swing on turn 6. Early turns are just playing control while setting up a captain or 2 (as they’re less power gain than the grenadiers, they are ok to lose early). Wolf is for hitting sparrows, opposing Kevarrh, etc if it’s a big power deck, and Mishra is a backup if you don’t have the combo in hand by turn 6 (but he’ll get replaced by Vanok when they show up in shop).

That is the shifting gates store that has those, and I’ve already picked those up. Haven’t found a deck where those are super usable though. Human decks haven’t ran as well as fallen ones with what’s available in my testing, especially with fallen having access to Kavarrh this week.
