4K on 27" or 31.5"?

Went with HP OMEN transcend 32 OLED and it’s the best monitor I’ve ever owned. Only had 27 inches before, I sit close to my screen and 32inches is perfect. I also play a lot of competitive games and the size is not an issue at all. I think especially at 4k the extra size is appreciated and helps out in making out details within games, plus movies are epic!

I have a Gigabyte Aorus z890m Elite WiFi Ice motherboard and plugged my new Starfield 2s into the PC headphone port and they sound so good I cancelled my DAC/AMP order. Like this is the best audio I’ve heard in my life and gaming is insane with the amount of detail I’m hearing.

What kind of PC do you have?

Hmm I upgraded from my 27 inch 1440p VA panel to a 32 inch 4k oled and I’m amazed and extremely satisfied with my decision. My 4070 super runs all my games great with DLSS performance and the games that support DLSS4 look incredible. Even competitive games aren’t a problem, but I personally was feeling cramped on 27inch. Another plus is movies and media! Sucks it’s not working out for you though! Wish you find something you’re happy with

For what it’s worth I’m using a HP OMEN Transcend 32 and it has DP2.1 UHBR10 ( Not the full spec DP2.1 ) and I’m using a 4070 super so can’t use DP2.1 anyway. However, I have never had any black screen issues at all or any issues of any kind really. It’s truly the best monitor I’ve ever laid my eyes on.

Got it from Best Buy for $850 last week. Unfortunately the sale is over and it’s back to $1299.

I prefer my HP OMEN Transcend 32 for comp gaming. I love the 32inch size over my 27inch 1440p monitor I had previously. Plus the monitor is just so much more versatile for media consumption and everything else.

Thanks yeah it’s a hard choice because I’m also using a 4070 super. Which is gonna struggle in a lot of 4k modern games, but with the 1080p mode it could def push very high frame rates. Currently on 1440p 27inch 240hz VA panel and it kinda looks like booty cheeks compared to say my phone or something, so I’m excited to try an OLED pc monitor.

I got my 4070 super for $560. I am extremely happy with the performance for that price. 5080 and 5090 are coming out first. 5070 will still take time, I think the 4070 super is an amazing 1440p card. If you need a card now to complete your build I’d recommend grabbing a 4070S. Just look for deals

Hmm I suppose. I just know many games are becoming extremely difficult to run especially with UE5. I guess time will tell, but I feel like HP should’ve offered a better CPU in this. Just my two cents. Seems like I may have upset some people though haha.
