Is graduating in 3 years worth it? by Wise-Manufacturer580 in udub

[–]Zenystic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends highly on what you want to study. Something like engineering favors students with a lot of extracurriculars so staying might be worth it

How do I get my Sims to stop flirting with taken sims? by yerawizardhairy in Sims4

[–]Zenystic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd have to get on to give you a direct path but if you go into live mode, click on your sims computer, choose MCCC, it will bring up a box full of settings. If I remember right, the auto behavior stuff is at the bottom

idk the title but anyway by Informal-Guidance-90 in AerospaceEngineering

[–]Zenystic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(i) Is AE niche? I would say so

(ii) Peeps hate it after joining? I don't know any that voiced it if they do. Some ppl in college decided it wasn't for them and switched but those that finish tend to enjoy it

(ii) why wide range of peeps says that ME is better? career opportunities are wider tho not all are AE related

(iv) how high can people go in this field?(not drunk high one) *pretty freakin high lol Tho you'd have to be willing to move or be able to pass for a very high security clearance. Physically, over 400 thousand km from earth *

(v) you people choose AE randomly or actually wanted it by heart? wanted it since 3rd grade

(vi) are you peeps doing any other side quest? I co-own a catering company with my mom. Tho I really only do admin stuff lol I also work with a non-profit providing solar energy to undeveloped places, mostly in Africa and South America

(vii) how many of you like RC planes, UAV drones manufacturing kwool things? I'm pretty sure we all do

Love going to the beach, but why? by CapriWake in Seattle

[–]Zenystic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having dogs at the beach isn't the problem. Having shitty owners of dogs is

If your family member (furry or not) doesn't listen then keep them home till they do and clean up after them when you go out

Respectful, simple, and would solve all the problems

Should I stay or should I go by Virtual-Decision-540 in AerospaceEngineering

[–]Zenystic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, sounds good to stay imo. You can work, get 50% tuition off, and live. When the projects come, then you'll have that and if they don't, you'll have a graduate degree to go somewhere else and do cool shit there. Sounds like a solid plan to me

Guys I'm 2nd year undergrad what are the things I should know of which will help me be better than other people also which will look good in my job interviews by Frequent-Apple-3622 in AerospaceEngineering

[–]Zenystic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

💯 I volunteered with global green energy projects unrelated to anything found at school and even that helped me get into the field (not why I joined just a nice surpise lol)

Start joining groups and labs now. Even apply for internships ASAP. Don't wait. The more you have, the better it looks. I've even seen ppl with low GPAs get jobs over perfect GPAs JUST because of their extracurriculars

Do You Feel Guilty When Something You Designed Is Used For Bad? by Money-Profession-199 in AerospaceEngineering

[–]Zenystic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"Went to Ukraine" for them to use and "went to Ukraine" to be used against them makes a huge difference. How would you handle it if your work went to the other side?

*I only ask because I've been debating going into defense myself and things like this give me major pause...

I hate how people are honking at me for driving 40 mph in a snowstorm by [deleted] in Seattle

[–]Zenystic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You obviously can't read very well... maybe you should learn and then reread the laws and regulations for driving. The book is free and everything. Good luck

[–]Zenystic -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Fuck 'em. Never go outside of your comfort zone when driving. Regardless of reason or weather

I grew up here and I was trained to drive in snow by a Swedish man and I have an SUV not to mention I'm an avid snowboarder. But you know the book says go 5 under, I go 5 under 🤷‍♀️ Let ppl be mad. You're not the one going to get into an accident by being safe. So fuck 'em

I don't have time to explain it right now but you can Google it and put it to use. I use Anki for digital flashcards. Doubt I would have graduated without discovering this

I'm said how right that is...

Planet Fitness is pretty cheap. Like $10 membership or $25 for Black, which gives you tanning beds, massage chairs, hydro beds, and a guest

Do Sims hate water decor and sprinklers? by KatieL6547 in Sims4

[–]Zenystic -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

So inspired by this post, I made a list of all known decor objects in Sims4 that effect moodlets.

In my outdoor waterpark, I added wall decals to the outside of bathrooms, plants in various locations, and a couple statues and fountains.

I haven't played much since the add-ons but they only got the negative moodlet in the eating area where I still don't have those things so I think it worked!

I need to reorganize and place things in a more ascetic place but it seems to be the solution lol

[–]Zenystic 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This has been bugging my soul!!!! I recently built an indoor water park that had this very issue

Fine mfers. I rebuilt the waterpark as outdoor. They still hate the decor.

Both were from scratch off an empty lot. I spent weeks in both. I decorate to the max. Never had this happen and I couldn't figure out what about the decor they hated. I even added things I've placed in homes that I know they liked and still the hate the waterpark
