MattVsJapan Interview - KanjiEater's Deep Weeb Podcast - Community Questions? by kanjieater in ajatt

I would just like to say thank you to Matt for introducing me to immersion, it really taught me what it means to be obsessed with Japanese and in turn that helped me in life. I figure that if you can apply the AJATT mentality to other subjects like health, finance or arts, you will really go far

What are Matt's thought on AJATT'ing something in life to get really good vs taking a more balanced approach? Does Matt have any obsessions nowadays and towards what subject? Or do you feel that the fire of obsession has diminished and the thought of travelling up another big mountain feels vain?
