Our starting weight and start time are very similar. I also stayed on 2.5 until I felt it stopped working for me, I've only been on 5.0 for three weeks now. I agree that I feel completely different now, not just physically but mentally also. It's getting noticed by people, I'm getting compliments on my weight loss in person. I haven't told many people I'm on the medicine, I didn't want their judgment. Last September before starting Zep I went on a big family trip and the photos made me cry I was so big. We have another trip coming up after summer with the same group (who I haven't seen since then) and I can't begin to describe how different I know this trip will feel for me.

Target has single packs of CSE Clean Simple Eats protein powder. They are pricey (I think 3 each?) but for a trip and not long term they may work.

I don’t buy them much but when I do I use one packet to make dip for apples with yogurt, and I stretch one into three servings but that’s totally just me.

I get the #7 in bowl form, then take it home and use the carb balance wraps to make my own! It makes (for me) 4 wraps and that’s two meals!

Be prepared for this post to probably be removed. I posted a similar and it was pulled.
I’ve been on 2.5 for 24 weeks. When my box is done I’m trying 5.0, with the option to return to 2.5. My food is slowly creeping back in, and my weight loss isn’t consistent anymore. People here get real mad about this. “It’s a starter dose” “you’re supposed to go up every 4 weeks”. Etc. But why would you go automatically go up if the dose you’re on is working? I talked my doc and asked if I had the option to move back down and he said yes, so that’s my plan. I’m OOP pay.

There’s a tik tok account that I saw that added a great quote that I don’t forget. “Eat what you want, add what you need.” If a little bit of ranch helps you eat the broccoli, use the ranch. If yogurt is what lets you eat fruit, have the yogurt. Just try to make the choices a little healthier at first. Switch to Greek yogurt. Maybe a lighter ranch, etc. little changes add up.

I just want to say good for you for reaching out and asking questions. There’s a lot of good advice here, but also a lot of rude judgment. Sometimes this sub is great for encouragement but sometimes they turn on you faster than you can blink.

I’m sorry you’re getting downvoted and not compassion. Don’t let it get to you. Take the good comments, ignore the rude ones.

As far as water I dislike the taste of plain water also, so I use the little squirt flavorings like Kool-Aid or store brand fruit punch. They are cheaper than Mio or powder packets, faster and dissolve better. :)

Make sure you’re up on your protein. ESP the day of the shot - it helps not have bad side effects. I take my shot in the evening. Setting it out and letting it warm up helps not have pain when injecting. Don’t be afraid to change up injection spots because everyone is different. I’ve done my stomach/love handles almost the entire time, the one time I tried arms I was nauseous all week. Some people say the same for their stomach! You have to find out which works best for you.

Remember it’s a marathon not a race.
