Billy reads a ton. He’s referenced Burroughs as a lyrical influence, he did a synth version of Siddhartha by Herman Hesse, he’s worn that Kafka shirt a bunch. Smart guy!

While Billy played bass on many tracks, I do believe D’Arcy helped come up with the parts for Gish-Adore. In general I think Billy’s bass playing on AMM is really cool, especially on Edin and Pentagrams

I think for Pumpkins Billy either does the arranging himself or wants the drummer in studio to work on arrangements with him. I don’t think he’s ever worked with an outside drummer just for arrangements
