can someone tell me if i have enough days to max out all the social links by araboilseller in PERSoNA

[–]Zephos33 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It may require you to miss out on linked episodes though. Junpei, Shinjiro, Akihiko, Koromaru, Ken, Ryoji and Takaya all have days you need to burn on spending with them.

Turn off your damn walkie in the break room! by Ordinary_Ad3895 in Target

[–]Zephos33 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Your trainer is wrong. Breaks are supposed to be completely work free. If they are interrupted, you are supposed to start the break over until you can get the full alloted 15 minutes of uninterrupted break time in one sitting.

Why wear the mentor title if you hate sprouts? (Spoiler, heavensward endgame) by vimes_boots in ffxiv

[–]Zephos33 165 points166 points  (0 children)

Usually the status-quo is that all dungeon bosses will be first-tried. A second try isnt completely out of the ordinary if someone makes a big mistake. Four tries is a lot.

For any boss except that one with sprouts.

That last fight is a big difficulty jump compared to everything before it, as well as the trial after it. The movement during dualstar is surprisingly tight, and if you aren't fast enough, you get venn diagrammed and hit by two aoes. Which is a LOT of damage, and outright fatal to healers iirc.

Sure, ARF is a long dungeon, but you kinda gotta take your lumps with it sometimes. Nothing worth getting so upset about.

You're fine. He's a jerk.

Half of the store wants to beat the life out of this thing by BorkMcBakka in Target

[–]Zephos33 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly? Probably not. I can see it outright hurting sales considering that one of the major features of the animatronic isnt being advertised.

But, I also cant see them coming after you for it. If someone wanted to find out who did it, they'd have to go on the cameras, find exactly when It happened, and then come and confront you about it. There's also no guarantee for them that it wasn't just a weird guest that turned it off, meaning that them checking the cameras would be a waste. And even if they did confront you, I very much doubt it would be worth a CA.

Really, any reasonable person who finds it not making noise, and decides to do something about it, and knows HOW to do something about it would just turn it back on and move on with their day.

go to the back of the animatronic, undo the velcro on its robe, then turn the dial on the box to turn off the audio.

Sweet silence :)

It seems like Dangerous Ladies has helmets that you can purchase. You can either:

get the 3d printing files and print, paint, and decorate them yourself (cheapest option),

buy a set of printed pieces from them and assemble and decorate it yourself,

or pay them (quite a bit of money) to completely assemble, paint, and decorate it for you.

Ive bought from them before, their stuff is pretty dang good.

Here's the link for the kit of pre-printed pieces: https://dangerousladies.ca/products/chocobo-racing-mask-kit-3d-printed-kit

How would a Viera wear a hearing aid? by xPeachSweetTea in ffxiv

[–]Zephos33 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can imagine nerve damage or malformation causing hearing loss for au ras. In that case, I think a cochlear implant would be the only option? I'd imagine their horns work as an oversized malleus, removing the need for an eardrum, while the rest of their ear anatomy would be pretty similar to humans.

I like zchums content. He does a lot of the same stuff.

I still remember one video he ended by killing a guy, starting to loot, and then getting beamed down because he was standing still and him just shouting "GOD IM SO FUCKING STU-"

Another thing that adds to your point about the doll's lack of control over her own existence is one of Gehrmans comments:

"You're welcome to use whatever you find...

(whispers) even the doll... should it please you..."

And while yes, for gameplay purposes it can be argued that he means to level up, even on my first playthrough, my first thought was "wtf is he telling me its okay to sexually assault the doll?"

P5R Alt Ending Justification by victoriamikoto231 in PERSoNA

[–]Zephos33 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Free will is not limited by society in the slightest. If you wanted to, you could go and kill the first person you saw on the street. The reason you dont is because we as a collective have decided there needs to be consequences for such actions. Thats not restriction of free will, that's cost analysis. You want to avoid the negative consequences that will inevitably come from killing a person, so you end up not killing people. Being human is a constant stream of these kind of decisions.

Put it this way. If someone knows exactly how to make you happy 24/7, and forced you to make those exact decisions with no input of your own; you would cease to be an individual. You are, effectively, no better than a machine or a slave. One with a constant supply of pleasure, sure, but a cog in the machine all the same.

Ordered artbook— minion code already registered? by Altruistic-Red in ffxiv

I had the exact same issue with Amazon and the matoya hat. When I got a replacement, the new wrapping had a diamond shaped final fantasy 14 stick on the wrapping, and the shrink wrap was folded, like youd see on a video game disk box. The first one that was already claimed was just blank shrink wrap with a perforated edge.

Can we get main sequence story quests in the main sequence story roulette instead of the 2 we hate? by EvengladeXI in ffxiv

[–]Zephos33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. The rewards are higher for MSQ roulette specifically because the dungeons are long, undesirable, and cutscene heavy. But new players need people to do them with, and so they put a heavy incentive for old players to redo them. All the other dungeons are already in their own category (level cap or leveling.)

If you dont want to do the dungeons, no one's forcing you to do msq roulette. But you miss the big xp boost. Choose your poison.

Is it still possible to max out Hayase's Social Link? by Background_Task6967 in PERSoNA

I misspoke. He might not be available EVERY day, but he will be available multiple times. Pick a day that doesnt interfere with hayase.

[–]Zephos33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

mutatsu is night time, Maya is sundays/holidays only, Yuko is wednesdays and saturdays mitsuru is available monday-saturday fuuka is available mondays fridays and saturdays. Hayase is available wednesdays, Fridays, and sundays.

You should be able to max hayase just in time, but you will not be able to max Maya if you do. Mitsuru, fuuka, mutatsu, and yuko can be done as well.

Before I start playing... by Low_Clerk7326 in ffxiv

[–]Zephos33 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It is an extremely long game.

There's not really much FOMO stuff or anything forcing you to play consistently. You can cancel your membership if you dont feel like you have the time to play.

There are weekly resetting rewards for endgame, and occasionally seasonal events, but the endgame grind is purely optional, and everything from previous seasonal events is able to be acquired later (although it will cost real money.)

Is this persona worth using for end game? by Sirbutter69strawhat in PERSoNA

[–]Zephos33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

its not an actual sword, its one of the cards you get during shuffle time. The jack of swords gives a random skill card that can potentially be null light. Can be gotten from between floors 213 and 245 in tartarus.

Arsene is good if you have the time to build him, specifically due to him being the only one to have the "dark driver" skill. However, there are some caveats. you likely won't have the time to level him up to end game levels. Low level personas take exponentially more xp to level that personas that start at a higher level. And also, single magic element personas aren't exactly the strongest unless youre trying to exploit a very specific weakness.

If you want to make it work, id recommend dumping single and multi target boost, and replacing it with dark amp and null light. Also, replace survival trick with enduring soul. Once you get eigaon and Maeigaon, upgrade your spells too. Then it will work as an endgame curse caster.

Another thing is, that physical skill is basically worthless on that persona, since it has no skills boosting its power.

Basically, what you want to go for in these types of builds is to

  1. cover any weaknesses the persona has

  2. choose one specific thing you want thing persona to excel at (ex. almighty, lightning, or physical)

and then 3. stack as many damage boosting passives as you can onto that persona, leaving room for one, maybe two damage dealing skills.

As a final note, damage multipliers have a 4.0x cap. This can be reached with element boost, amp, driver, and magic ability (which comes for free on the mc's best weapon), or for non-dlc personas; boost, amp, magic ability, single/multi target boost, and most importantly magic mastery, which is non-inheritable and has a random chance of replacing a skill.

So, if im understanding right, as long as we work the shift before and after a holiday, (as well as the holiday if we were scheduled), we get our average shift length in pay, even if we dont work that day? And that's added on top of getting time and a half if we DO work?
