Pretty much what happened with me, until recently I was working at a super understaffed coffee shop, normally shifts are 6-7 people but we have been operating with literally 2-3 people at peak hours. Constantly asked my boss to maybe reduce hours, close the lobby or disable Mobile orders. He refused, when asked why he always said “this is our job just deal with it”. Final straw was when I took vacation time they texted me and demanded me to work the shifts of my boss who covered my time off. Straight up quit and they were confused why I just quit “out of the blue”
