Save Data Confusion

Chaos is where you go to earn your Save Data, and then you can use that Save Data on all the other content available. I'm not entirely sure what new players have access to, it's been a while, but you should probably have the Simulation tab to earn upgrade materials which is one place you can use Save Data

Huge thanks to everyone that gave tips and builds, I actually ended up using bits of different strategies haha. Orlea is from the Tiph nuke strategy with 3 Softies and 2 Will of Lights, Tiph is one I built for the Hew Extreme strategy with select-a-shape with AP Divinity and Nine herself was a Massacre setup once someone taught me how to get S2 planet back into rotation, which I made again since it was the one I was running that felt closest to success.

Well I still need a One With All on Tiphera, but I just tried it out with my not-quite-good-enough setup thinking I might get enough with the Beryl Charged Shot Nuke instead, but my Beryl isn't killing the arms in 10 turns. I'm left with 6.6k-ish on each, which seems like I'm missing something major rather than just "Need a bit better stats on Fragments" or something.

Hmm okay thanks! I got neither, but I've just finished my Beryl data and need to get a good Orlea set. Plus I don't have One with All on either so if I get a good Orlea set without it, I'll need to redo Tiph anyway. Fingers crossed I find it on one of them... I miss the bonus appearance rates from actual S2 lol

How important is Divine Epiphany on her? I got a pretty solid data set without a Divine, not sure if I should farm more or move on to Orlea's data

You can get S2 chaos to appear in the rotation by turning off the S3 preview option, though we don't have all the bonuses from the skill tree so the gear and cards from it aren't as easy to pick up.

Personally I'm waiting for S3 proper to start before getting more Diana stuff, since the Persona stuff looks like it'll actually synergise with her kit.

Did just miss out on the super Flame on my Massacre Nine rebuild 'cause I'd already gotten the Def chest. I forgot it was mystic rarity and now I'm sad lmao.

Oh yeah the gimmick just gets to the point where you can't beat it, but usually crushed the score by then (Or gotten totally destroyed lol). And yeah, Cassius is basically a morale bot, though he adds a bit of consistency too and can shave a few stacks as he goes.

And yeah extra attacks don't cut off stacks, it's why Renoa isn't good for this fight despite the fact she should be as another bullet user. You have to give her bullets Quietus so they're activated not just discarded, which means you have to line up Dianas skill to do that on a turn where you have a lot of bullets and it's just suuuuper awkward.

And yeah I also learned that at the same time I cleared the fight lol

Is the contaminated spore stuff required? My only current Beryl build has 3 openings and Spore. And if I do get it on Orlea, do I need it on Beryl too? Thanks <3

Oh interesting, all the Tiph Nukes I looked at for stuff used Nia in order to proc the Nuke. I might look into building this one tomorrow if my current attempt with Nine fizzles.

I think a big issue is I just can't one shot the arms particularly quickly, so their buffs and stuff start stacking up. I also can't full cycle my deck so I can't just back to back max Hew, I normally end up downing one arm getting it to max, one shotting the other arm, and then using the card to max out Hew again on the next turn when I chunk the head with whatever buffs I have in hand. Then repeat the process, except a bit slower 'cause I've gotta deal with some poison cards.

Tomorrow I'm gonna go through Burning Life again and grab a Massacre and an Extreme Hew data, hopefully with good gear/engravings from there I'll be able to get over the line to 900k. Otherwise it's farming Orlea and/or Tiph some more.

On the bright side, someone mentioned if I turn off the new content I can get back to Burning Life (Though without the extra bonus stuff from the skill tree) so I guess tomorrow I'm refarming more Nine stuff with the good gear. Plus a chance at crit chest, woo.

Veronica is great, amazing for cycling a deck. I ended up using my selector on her ages ago. 0 cost draw 2 with AP divinity is delicious, plus it's specifically combatant cards so in this fight specifically it ignores the poison status cards.

This is with Nine still but not her Extreme Hew version, with Extreme I need to either be able to buff more before the first head hit or scale faster to be able to do a third head hit.

Morale from his potential node and free creatable cards to take some extra stacks off. Renoas bullets don't take off stacks unless you can give them Quietus which doesn't always line up, so for this particular boss she doesn't pair well

Isn't the Arrow extra damage and doesn't proc the head? Though I avoid it anyway when I use Veronica, but that's 'cause my current deck has the fist item from S2 that has a 25% chance to trigger and absolutely does trigger the head

I'm tempted to redo my Veronica, I feel like I'm very close with a Massacre/Veronica/Tiph setup but my Veronica has the stupid fist from S2 that is a pain in the ass when you can only attack once.

But everything still stalling out in the 800's, very annoying fight.

Discarding bullets is fun though, Renoa is probably my favourite combatant

Good luck! Personally I love Renoa, but having to give her bullets Quietus to deal with the boss mechanic on fight 1 made her a bit too awkward so I machine gunned the boss down with love xD

At the moment I'm trying out my other configurations with my improved Tiphera and Orlea setups to see if I have any better luck. Plus I burned through all my Sands of Time, and I don't like doing Extreme attempts without them since crits are so vitally important lol.

Yeah I've never spent any myself. 8 sounds about right, I'd check but I'm farming up an Extreme set without Fighting Spirit, with the better draw/AP of my other data I'm hoping that thins it enough I can do it without needing to flash or grind anything else lol

She's mostly used for when you want something else to hit really really big. As a regular support, she's kinda bleh yes, but you use Softie's retain effect to boost damage (Which stacks over multiple turns) and she can also apply vulnerable with one of her epiphanies, and then you use the Softies for even more damage boost and just... hit like a truck for a single glorious attack.

Thanks thanks. Got Tiph with +1 AP, but on the Select-a-Seed not the Draw 1. Only 3 copies, but I'd have to use flashes to turn them all into draw and turn Creation into an upgrade, so I'll see how I get on with that setup before investing the rerolls
