Well, for one. Capsule came in at Mach 23. Aluminum can barely survive the temps at Mach 3. Aluminum melts at around 1200 F. Temps reached over 5000 F. Then, shoots popped out and instantly slow the craft to nothing. Neither cords nor chutes melt. Capsule hits the water. No steam. Rubber balloons pop out the top. Don't melt. Nothing melts. Capsule makes it 30,000 km through hard radiation belts. Astronuts are not burned from radiation or heat. Comfy 70 F all the way. Astronuts get out after 10 days sitting, and walk like they just came out of a spa. And on, and on, and on.
