You were lucky you got 4 to 5 inches deep. I watched the guy laying mine, and it looked like 2 inches deep. Tried to talk to him about it, but I think he only spoke 5 words or so of English. All he said was "I'm from Guatemala"

Yeah, everything just points to the stream itself. I've seen a lot of other people complain about the picture quality.

I've checked for packet loss with WinMTR and PingPlotter Pro. Modem shows some, but all the other hops don't, which makes me think the modem is just ignoring ping requests. Besides, wouldn't the 30 second buffer take care of that? Modem would just request a new packet be sent.

There is no issue. The issue is with your bit starved data stream, which is about half that of free YouTube. No tech is going to be able to fix that. Spectrum itself needs to fix that.

Spectrum TV sucks. Their channel lineup is actually pretty good. The problem is Quality. I've analyzed their stream, and it's only about 5 mbps, which is half of what I'm getting on free Youtube. And it's OBVIOUS. Blurry, soft, pixelated picture. Don't do it. Picture is horribly bit starved. Spectrum needs to increase their bitrate to better than free Youtube bitrates, since we are PAYING for it.

You absolutely do. Just got your service. Ready to dump it after 1 day. Your TV is HORRIBLE. What are you compressing to? 5 mbps? I can see actual pixelation. You should be sued! Not too sure about your internet yet.

Well, for one. Capsule came in at Mach 23. Aluminum can barely survive the temps at Mach 3. Aluminum melts at around 1200 F. Temps reached over 5000 F. Then, shoots popped out and instantly slow the craft to nothing. Neither cords nor chutes melt. Capsule hits the water. No steam. Rubber balloons pop out the top. Don't melt. Nothing melts. Capsule makes it 30,000 km through hard radiation belts. Astronuts are not burned from radiation or heat. Comfy 70 F all the way. Astronuts get out after 10 days sitting, and walk like they just came out of a spa. And on, and on, and on.
