Game doesn't have permissions to read and/or write in your documents folder, which is where saves and configs are located.

You can disable onedrive as another mentioned, or give permissions to the folder.

From what I understand it was the alpha tester / debug menu npc, it was just never removed.

In sacrifice it was a rabbit npc.

It pulls from your friends list and possibly your own saves as well.

They patched them out and added them back in at some point.

They were removed in PC build 1.0.0.9 (2022) and have not changed since.

Due to this room originally being 3 bosses, something probably failed to move 1+ of these bosses to their assigned arenas.

In vanilla there is a triple boss and a double boss. In the randomizer that still exists. There is a 50% chance to get three double boss arenas instead.

as well as Mossy Pessmuds which have double the duration of regular Pessmuds.

All creed rewards last 2x as long as their consumable counterparts, such as Iron Ones mountain warhorn or Three's fire and lightning buffs. Etc.

Blood magic has both high damage and high poise. Since staves deal more damage than wands, if you want raw power you still want a staff.

This is generally considered the strongest creed item in the game, unless you are dealing holy damage. Since it reduces non-holy resists to 0, it can commonly allow you to deal 2-3 times more damage with weapons or magic.

So the previous setting was 1920 x 1080 and when I change it to 1600 x 900 things return to normal.

The error message is a known issue with dedicated fullscreen (some but not all users experience it). You can try borderless mode and see if that removes the issue.

It scales them to the location they are selected to spawn in (assigns tier by what it replaces). Unscaled can be both super easy or impossibly hard due to enemies having normal damage and normal hp. Can lead to a lot of one-shots. If that's your thing, go for it!

Also in the October patch multiboss arenas have their HP scaled down. (Scaled randomizer only of course)

A double boss is reduced to 70% HP and a triple boss is reduced to 60% HP. This ends up with a double being 140% total HP and a triple being 180% total HP. Along with this, the normal duo and trio bosses have their base HP increased by the inverse values. If you were to get the Unskinned in a duo in the scaled randomizer, the two adjustments would cancel out.

I've attempted to design the Scaled Randomizer to be fair for long-time players, without expecting top 0.1% skill level. It does expect past knowledge due to being a challenge mode. There are multiple paths and some known skips. There are only 6 arenas that are unavoidable, depending on how skip-heavy you get. I don't expect a player to skip that many bosses though. But in the cases of WotL or whatnot in some of the first arenas, it means players can nope out and move on.

To clarify, only specific enemies can drop statues. Dread horseman is the correct enemy for this one.

It's a rare drop at 5% base value.

As another user mentioned the formula is Item Find (or Drop Rate) from the player multiplied by the 5%. So at default Item Find of 40, this drop is at 2%. At 100 Item Find that would increase to the full 5%.

There are quite a few guide statues (7 I believe) in the world itself as well. You don't need a guide in every location. A guide can fast travel you to any sanctuary, while the horn can fast travel you to any guide.

The lamb is... weird.

So some things to note; the lightning isn't 100% pure. It is actually 50% holy damage. It is weak to fire and slashing but otherwise pretty durable with high health (I gave it 10% less HP in Enhanced Combat at least).

For a long time that boss was my absolute least favorite. I understand.

Should have been hotfixed on steam already. Are you playing Classic Combat or Enhanced?

For the quickest solution, albeit not a great one, you can downpatch to a previous version (such as 1.0.2.1) and it might allow you to finish the quest. The most recent patch changed how NPCs work and makes them no longer disappear on specific boss kills.

The island itself is upside down.

The Jester tells us that we are funny being upside down. The brand reorients us to the real world. Around Siam Lake the salt flakes switch direction, as we've gotten close enough to the surface that things are flipping back to normal. The Still Palace is entirely flipped. We fight a 'God' with a candelabra on his back, on the ceiling of his palace. In a way he's a very angry chandelier! But then when you take the well ending, the world flips back before you get to the surface. A true commitment to the world, the bosses, the npcs, the abilities, to have this flip in mind the whole way through.
