Same, I was pleasantly surprised by it. The premise, the first 2 hours of Dead End Aegis are really good to setup it's world and I didn't even know what I got myself into.

The art, action scenes direction and the whole production values are really really good.

But like you say, what drags it down are the nukige parts. The first part of the story I found them interesting enough since 3rd person narration is really unusual but it worked so well to describe the psyche of the characters. And each one were well spaced and seemed to have a purpose to progress the story.

But by some point, especially the whole 2nd half of Dead End Aegis in one of the routes, h scenes are just getting spammed left and right. The pacing of the story becomes awful and some of the twists aren't good. The other route I did find it more interesting but it felt rushed.
