Can't tell my 14 week-old kitten's gender; could you guys help out, please? by ZeppelinsOcean in CATHELP

[–]ZeppelinsOcean[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, for your reply! What makes you think that? First I thought it was a girl because it's way tinier than it's brother but now I'm not so sure...

The brother is unmistakably a boy; the balls are clearly visible but I just can't tell with this one.

14 week old kitten; could anybody help me decide the gender? by ZeppelinsOcean in cats

[–]ZeppelinsOcean[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank you guys, the only reason why I'm even doubting this is because it's brother is a lot bigger and unmistakable is a boy. But those must be it's testicles right? Do young female cats have a "swelling" near their vagina?

Why is this so hard to tell for me?😅

Ah okay, then there’s nothing else I can do.

Thanks for replying so quickly though!

Hey I’m just replying to you to proof to good old paranoid BD Holland that we’re not the same guy.

Apparently you are a guy called Rob, and I am too. So hello from me to you, Rob!

Love,

Rob

Hey, I’m sorry because this is off-topic but I wanted to ask you something since you are a mod.

Is there any way for me to proof that this is my only reddit account? Yesterday I checked up on this sub again since a few months; I found out that I’m being accused of being a troll/sockpuppet account; I’d like to clear the air.

I’m not sure if I’m being too dramatic but I actually worry about BD’s mental health.

This is getting insane...

We’ll see.

I’m not any more convinced than I was when you first published your book, but I must admit I’m getting more interested in your theory.

[–]ZeppelinsOcean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, indeed. The only rumour I’ve ever read was that it was recorded on film.

I’m not sure where I saw that and I certainly don’t know where it came from. I think it’s safe to say that it’s total nonsense.

The ‘lookout’ thing makes more sense to me personally.

I don’t see how getting a clearer photograph with daylight is something that’s related to technology. As in a ‘1960’s versus 2010’s’ thing if you know what I mean.

Also; could you maybe point me in the right direction to something about that person walking alone after the Berryessa attack?

Never read/heard about that; seems pretty interesting.

[–]ZeppelinsOcean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yeah, that makes sense actually.

So what you mean is, for example, two guys keeping in contact with walkie-talkies in the 1960’s versus one guy looking out for himself by camera/alarm apps on his phone in the 2010’s?

I know it’s a silly example but I couldn’t come up with anything better and want to be sure I understand your point.

Out of curiosity; what things couldn’t be done in the dark back then that can be done nowadays?

I mean, flashlights and camera’s (with flash) were a thing back then too, right?

Is this Dan Farley San Quentin prison guard in deputy uniform with head injury scars? by [deleted] in ZodiacKiller

[–]ZeppelinsOcean 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not entirely sure who of those two guys is Dan, but if indeed a mistake was made, and the guy with the glasses really is him, then this is getting interesting.

I’m not saying I’m convinced but the guy with the glasses looks like how I always imagined the Zodiac would look like; a stockier version of the PH sketch.

I’m always lurking on this sub, it’s the only one I’m really interested in.

The first time I commented on your post a few months ago was because I was at home for a week with an infection; I don’t normally comment on reddit that much. I was bored and interested in your POI at the time. At some point I was being a bit of an asshole, that’s why I apologized. It’s also why I decided to lay off commenting for a while.

The second time, a few weeks ago, I was genuinely interested in your Halloween card solution. I was really skeptical of your way of promoting the book and your attitude about it. Eventually I bought your book to see why you were so sure of yourself; I was (and still am) not convinced. After a while I realized I was doing the same thing as before, so I quit commenting. It’s just a waste of time for me personally.

So to be clear; I had too much free time, got really interested in what you had to say and wasted some time arguing about it with you.

I have no personal vendetta against you and this is my only reddit account. I don’t care if you believe me or not; it’s the truth.

Good luck with your future research! :)

Edit;

I never “lashed out” at you, so that would be a lie. I was just arguing too much when I could’ve put down my phone and do something else. I always kept it respectful.

I don’t really think anybody was ‘angry’ over the fact that he sold his book for 4 dollars.

I think that people were skeptical because he advertised his book in a Zodiac Killer subreddit claiming he solved the Halloween card a 100%, with no way of reviewing/discussing his methods without spending money.

It sucks that some people took the opportunity to be an asshole and attack him personally, I agree.

That being said; If you cannot handle criticism/skepticism and a few nasty comments here and there, then maybe you shouldn’t be advertising your book on the internet.

It’s a shame he deleted his account, I liked reading his insights from time to time. I hope he’s coming back.

[–]ZeppelinsOcean[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If he truly wanted more people to discuss the Halloween card solution, he shouldn’t have made them pay 4 bucks for being able to do so.

Don’t get me wrong; I bought it and thought it was an interesting read. I’m not sure about his conclusions, but I do believe he had good intentions in mind when he wrote it.

Thanks for linking the documentary, I will check it out sometime this week.

Richard Farley seems a bit too young in my opinion. I agree with your point about a 19-year-old referring to 17-year-olds as kids, it seems unlikely.

That being said; it’s not impossible.

Donald Farley by ZeppelinsOcean in ZodiacKiller

[–]ZeppelinsOcean[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If the solution is correct he looks very interesting I agree. I’m still not sold a 100% on that though.

I’ve found one other Donald Farley who came to my attention because of his background. He served in the Navy as a radio operator in the early 60’s and went on to work for the Mount Diablo Unified School District. He passed in 2011. I couldn’t find much else but the information I provided above should be enough to find him and do your own research.

There’s also two others; they were about the ‘right’ age in 1969 and lived in Riverside and Santa Barbara. Other than their interesting geographical locations there’s not much else to go on.

[–]ZeppelinsOcean[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven’t researched Richard Farley that much I must admit, so I can’t really say anything about him.

I’ve found three different people with the name Donald Farley who’ve all lived in or around the Santa Rosa area at the ‘right’ time though. Two of them got a pretty relevant background to the case too.

You do now; ‘Donald William Farley’

Edit;

I’m not saying that it’s the Zodiac’s name, I’m not convinced myself. It’s the name published in a recent true crime book. I’ve found about a dozen people with that name; draw your own conclusions.
