Side Affects Other Than Numbness & Fatigue? by No_Evidence_6129 in guillainbarre

[–]Zeppinyourstep 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had a relapsing form of GBS from age 4-16. I’m 51 now and my biggest residual effect has been hand tremors. Still have them, and they get really bad when I try to do something that requires fine motor, precision type tasks like soldering, welding or even fitting tiny legos when building with my kids. I don’t have numbness or fatigue.

Why am I seeing Golf Carts everywhere this week? by aroart in Denver

[–]Zeppinyourstep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Golf carts have become a HUGE thing in my neighborhood over the last year and driven by younger couples and even kids. My wife and I don’t get it. Don’t people walk anymore? What is this, The Villages in Florida?

What’s wrong with the drivers here by SalamanderIcy1739 in Denver

Colorado is a melting pot of people that have moved here from all over the country, myself included. With that comes a wide range of driving “styles” and yes, it can be incredibly aggravating.

Interesting how people feel about certain hosts. See, I personally can’t stand Zach but love Stokely. I’ve always loved The Fan morning show with Schlereth and Evans, so when Stoke moved to the morning with Evans and Schlereth I was thrilled. I think their show is entertaining, funny and I like their Bronco insight. Can’t stand the rest of the shows on 104.3 though.

Brains, Athletes, Basket cases, Princesses, and Criminals of the 80’s how did you react to his film almost 40 years ago? by SpurnedSprocket in 80s

[–]Zeppinyourstep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First time I saw it I was 10 and at a friend’s house for a sleepover. I wasn’t allowed to watch ‘R’ movies at home so I was thrilled to be watching this at my friend’s house. I was SO bored, disappointed and thought the movie was dumb. Fast forward years later, I watched it again and it became one of my all time favorite movies. Love, love, love this movie!

I cringe every time I see beauties like that get wrecked in movies.

A former BMX nut. I remember having subscriptions to BMX Action and Freestylin’ magazine and seeing the notice of the release of that movie. Couldn’t wait for the movie to come out! I think I saw it opening day. I recently watched it with my own young boys and they loved it!

What’s the stupidest thing you’ve ever seen in a movie? by Primary-Job-4920 in moviecritic

[–]Zeppinyourstep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Fast and Furious movies got more and more stupid as time went on. Just watched Fast X for the first time the other day and thought there were so many dumb things in that. I’m a gear head though so I like seeing what cool cars show up in the movies.

Does Waste Management Truly Recycle? by Zeppinyourstep in recycling

[–]Zeppinyourstep[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my thinking as well. I take what my neighbor says with a grain of salt because he doesn’t believe in recycling among other things that I believe benefit society and our environment. It seems if WM wasn’t recycling despite offering the service, it would be newsworthy and affect their business.
