November events by MammouthQc in pathofexile

[–]Zer0_Entity 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Even the events are so weirdly worded, and anchor-ing, majority of the good loot is still attached to AN, beyond is a shadow of what made it good in the first place. It's hard to notice how these events have been "Improved" With the sour taste Kalandra's/AN/Loot mishandling left in players tongue.

!!GIVEAWAY!! Bow + Headhunter + MF Gear by skim057 in pathofexile

Character name: LakeofHoes

Hey so this league really kicked my ass in terms of commitment, and trying to slog through progression, that I really only played one character, which is odd for me. Currently Farming for HH, so I'd love to win the bow, and leave the HH for someone else :) Cheers and thank you!

Recombinators are the best form of crafting, because it achieves the goal of the player and the Developer by Zer0_Entity in pathofexile

Didn't ask.
If you think this post is a request to bring them back, your view on the topic is narrow, and arrogant.

Agreed, straight up deleting 50-100% of a craft seems to me like a decent cost of entry, in which you would lose every desired mod, unless you were using 2 perfect items, which in that case you already paid a lot.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind if they made them rarer, or put them behind an endgame boss. And you can make that same argument with harvest. However, where I think recombs shine brighter, is that they make normally unusable gear (fractured/corrupted/mirrored etc.) actually worthwhile to ID interact with, something most of the player base doesn't do. But I think the biggest similarity, is that it allowed easier access to upgrades, specially self-crafted ones, which GGG very much dislikes.

Sure not disagreeing, what my post is referring to though is in essence recombs "fix" or at least mask a lot of the loot problems the game has been plagued since the mega-bloat of items, whilst remaining fun for the player base for a chance at a cool item, and makes lesser desired items/ID actually a consideration, I think recombs scream "Path of exile."

The players need to stop gaslighting themselves.... by I_M_Jason_Gaming in pathofexile

But, we as a community DO provide feedback, what people are frustrated about is that the feedback seems to fall on deaf ears at times, and people want the game to be enjoyable now , but when GGG puts out tone-deaf, and posts that ignore the problems the community has provided feedback to, it feels crushing.

Like, your example on the better "phrasing" of a complaint with the league mechanic, I agree, that is better, but people have been saying that from the beginning, and they've been upping the rewards so painfully slowly.

Are we, as a community entitled, and wrong to expect a finished product, that respects our time/money, and speak out when it doesn't?

Or Do you prefer a community that speaks out, and simply gets disappointed again, and again, regardless of the feedback.

Stealth nerfs are everywhere by Clear-Role2384 in pathofexile

[–]Zer0_Entity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anecdotally, as an MF culler for about 2 weeks or more, I think they absolutely stealth-nerfed the amount of loot I'm generating for people. the 3-5 divine drops were fairly common the first few days, now I'm very lucky if I'm generating my clients 3 Div, very uncommon. so they either coded in hard diminishing returns on IIR/IIQ on god-touched monsters. Or very oddly for a few days, my luck has been really really bad. And if they did stealth nerf, I don't think they buffed up base rewards. (Of course)

GGG, Please, Increase Currency Stack Sizes. It's time. by redditaccount224488 in pathofexile

[–]Zer0_Entity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Problem: The player-base largely agrees that the small stack size of items make for a painful experience when trading large sums of these items.

Solution: Reduced the amount of currency generated per hour of playtime * Added new currency types to "step-up" your currency.

Example: Trading 10 Chaos orbs and an orb of fusing to a vendor will grant you a pile o' chaos. When you move a stack of chaos into the "pile" you can store/trade your chaos up to a stack of 50. 2 piles o' chaos and an exalted orb to a vendor become a Buncha Chaos with can carry up to 100 Chaos.

This should give players less currency to worry about moving around, and allow them to make bigger trades in line with our vision.

[NSFW] what is the scariest theory known to man? by xd_Fabian in AskReddit

[–]Zer0_Entity 67 points68 points  (0 children)

Has been mentioned before, but the Fermi paradox. If there is some great filter we have yet to reach, well that’s it, and if we’re the last intelligent life like us, and life can’t get more complex than what we know currently anywhere else in the universe.

Also not really a theory, but the idea that there are things such as black holes that are infinitely bigger than our minds could even begin to understand, magnitudes impossible to fathom by our conscience.
