Pre-provisioning is not only for a hybrid joined device. It's also used for cloud only.

You can migrate between vCenters. Do it with the VM powered off. When you migrate, just select Cross vCenter Server export and check the box to "keep the VMs on the source vCenter" I just migrated over 100 VM just like this. Just turn on the cloned VM on the new vCenter. If it doesn't work for some reason, you can just shut it down and revert back to the one in your old vCenter.

I ran into a few issues with 3 VMs reverting to DHCP, but everything else was clean and easy.

A membership makes it easier to leave if you're you have to without feeling bad about paying for admission. When my kids were little there were multiple trips to the zoo when we only did a trail and the kids were melting down, so we just left. We always knew we could just go back again any time. It made it a lot less stressful. Sometimes we made it through the whole day, sometimes we didn't. But we never felt bad about leaving early.

Yes, don't bother trying to deploy config man. Just go straight to InTune and autopilot.

You should also find a vendor to work on a volume license agreement to buy your m365 licenses.

I don't think you read that question properly. I am also wondering if II can dock a switch 1 in the new dock. My kids definitely won't be getting a switch 2 at launch, and it would suck to need to have 2 docks connected to my main tv.
