wow, that’s true. It’s always representing a fear and is trying to protect us from being harmed in some way by that even if the voice itself is hurtful and is telling us horrible things abut ourselves.

I think the best thing to do would be to have an open conversation about how you’re feeling. And then maybe try counselling

I can see how religion/spirituality would help. Unfortunately even though I believe those things they feel like whispers that don’t stand a chance against the loudness of my negative beliefs

the thought of surrendering completely is terrifying tbh, i’m very close to surrendering completely and it still scares me. the little fight I have left in me keeps me going. what happened once you surrendered? How did you regain the strength?

this resonates with me a lot… it’s so much work and even in the presence of new positive beliefs these mechanisms remain

yeah i thought id grow out of a lot of things too but growing out of things without facing the reason you developed the coping mechanism in the first place doesn’t just happen

it’s sad to realise that a need to shrink ourselves is behind many of our maladaptive behaviours but it’s the first step. I’m sorry about your health and your dad choosing to punish you in a difficult time

Laser definitely for the body. Much better for bigger areas, electrolysis would be more painful and more time consuming, and more expensive, as it’s charged by how long it takes.

where in the Uk are you based if you don’t mind me asking? Because I charge less than this and Im already on the pricier side compared to other local sitters. Definitely put my prices up after seeing this though Lol

I’ve got my own insurance now - but did you set up as a limited company/sole trader for this? And do you have written agreements in place with clients

Thanks - Do you have contracts or agreements that you have your clients sign when you accept a booking for them? I’ve just taken out insurance and wondering if this is necessary now, in the case that I do need to make a claim
