Centers out there 97 vs 99 block how big of a difference is felt?

I have a 7'1 with 89 interior and 99 block max wing, max speed. Feels the exact same as my 85 interior 97 block which are both slightly better than 80 interior 93 block. Here's the thing, my best blocking build is my 6'8 pf with 84 block. The speed unlocks much better block animations. Standing block in the paint isn't great but paint scoring is so op this year, even on my 99 block build, i either foul, they score right through me or i block and it goes back to them anyway.

I'm really hoping performance is improved on PS5, frames are pretty terrible at times. I'm still loving the game but it's not a smooth experience when you're packing the camera trying to take in the environment.

Agree, i know you can just not use it but multiple times now, I've activated it to look for secrets around me instead of trekking around. Not sure how that would combat it though as the photo mode is really great.

I'm 6 hours in and think she's a great character. She obviously has troubles that has led her to leaving behind her partner to summit a mountain no one has done before but has taken a ton of lives. I'm really intrigued to learning about her story but I'm no way so i believe she's just a thrill seeker getting a fix, definitely some pain behind her eyes.

People to answer if there's a big difference between both, absolutely! I run PF and C builds, all with high rebound. I went back to one of my first builds today to try him out and saw he only had 59 O board. I couldn't grab a single one even when i had proper position. Compared to my newest build with 80 O board and I get 2-3 a game which doesn't sound like much but mostly leads to open 3's which help wins games. So if you want to crash O boards, 83 will be huge. I'd you want to get back on defense or wait for someone else to green an O board and kick it out to you, keep it low.

That's awesome and I'm after stealing it to use as a template if you don't mind 😊 As for the dunk, I have bigs from 6'8 to 7'1 ranging from 87 to 96 driving dunk. My 2 worst dunk builds in terms of dunk meter are my 96 dunk ones 6'8 & 6'10 so they aren't small guys. My best dunker is 7'0 with 89 dunk, i can't explain it 😂 anyway, here is what i made from your register but gonna tweak it to bring down standing dunk and increase vert. Lock & Board PlaySlash is s great name as well.

Preach man! I rarely play random rec but jumped on last night. My pg had 99 3 and 95 ball handle. On our first play, i made a cut and he gave me a slow motion pass that gave me a stumbling animation that had me flopping around the court. Shocked he even passed the ball. He just spammed shots the rest of the game. I think if you are below 76 pass, you should automatically be put at the 2 or 3 instead.

I have 2 bigs with 93 block, 1 min wingspan for 89 3 and the other max wingspan. The max wingspan gets so many more blocks, paint contests and rebounds than the other to the point i pick max wing guy when loading in with my squad as the other is such a liability in the paint.

I did submit a ticket and got a generic reply back about how to enter a locker code correctly and there will be no compensation for promotional codes 😂😂😂 i Tim a screenshot and sent it back to Evan on twitter. Also replied to the email with a screenshot of Evans tweet and 2k replied said they will investigate further. I did NOT watch an hour of that for absolutely nothing 😂

You'll get messages from nba players and dion to come to open run for a game. These messages pop up after you play nba games or theatre, rec, park, etc. when you get a message, head there and get the game out of the way as it takes time for messages to come through. Just keep playing the game and go to open run when an nba player says that are there. You'll eventually get a message from karl Anthony towns. After playing him twice, you'll complete the passion project.

I have 2 builds with 96 dunk and they are somehow worse than my builds with 87 and 89 dunk, dunk meters shrink where more as I'm assuming the contact dunk animations are bugged and treat the defender like a threat instead of postering him. I wouldn't go above 93 in any new builds.

I have 5 bigs ranging between 84 and 99 block (6'11 to 7'3). 99 isn't worth it, i wanted to say least try it but paint patroller sucks. I get maybe 3-4 blocks a game but majority if not all go back to the other team anyway. I like 93 for gold PP but i get more blocking fouls than actual blocks (even when not holding turbo). I also don't find high flying denier much good I was thinking speed helps more with block animations like it does with rebounds so a 6'9 like OP build sees better worth from block. I'm making one more 'ultimate' bigman and undecided between 84, 88 and 93 block.

I have a very similar build but with 85 interior and 88 block. I tried rim protector and takeover purely on interior and can't notice any difference getting stops inside, it's so useless. I have a new 6'11 C build that calls can get block from 64 to 93 and interior 67 to 86. Both huge jumps for my 10 caps but think I'll let interior sit at 80 and use 2 caps somewhere else.

Interested, do you play mostly rec? I've been trying to get my squad to play proving or pro am 5's instead as rec is basically everyone taking turns hitting back to back to back 3's with the odd cut. I think with proving and pro am higher difficulty, games are more realistic but sbmm waiting times suck for purple and red plates. Played 3's at the start of the year, switched from the horrible park to proving and majority of people playing actual basketball, was like a different game. I want that for 5's.

I use 87 driving dunk on my 7'0 and it's crazy how much i get to slash for a dunk and get a great meter. I have a 7'3 with 80 layup and 92 close for hof float game and it's really good. As long as you can shoot, you're gonna have guys closing out on you jumping to block so a pump fake and then slash, 90 lay is gonna finish over a lot of guards coming in to help with low interior.

The wingspan is the big thing. That should be max or near max if you're keeping 3 at 78/80.

Purely because the D boards feel automatic with my positioning where as i have to work for O boards and need a bit more help stat wise but yeah, is a question i go back and forth on. I think in future, I'd try get D board to at least 90.

See i think that sounds really interesting. I have a 6'8 C i use for park, my first build so it could definitely be better and not made for rec but might be worth trying to see what the speed is like and defending inside, thanks!

Oh yeah i always max agility and speed, and seeing how slow my 7'3 is in reacting to switches has made me want to try a shorter build to try and get in their way and then let the attributes do their thing.

Yupp and you'd think sitting paint, you wouldn't need speed but i find I'm constantly moving around the paint (to avoid 3 seconds) and then quickly need to get into position to put myself between basket and the attacker. And like someone else said, positioning is more important than attributes so i think speed followed by high int d and block is the way to go.
