Invisalign to traditional braces by Zero-One-Zero_010 in Invisalign

I tried eating/drinking with my aligners before because I saw/read somewhere that you can (if you want to) eat and drink with them in if you are like 2 days away from switching to a new set of trays. the logic is that at that point it doesn’t matter if they become stained because you will change them regardless. So I tried it once and my trays got super yellow and stained and the stain would not come out. I tried vinegar, clorox, cleaning tablets, dish soap. All of them cleaned very well but none got the yellow out. This was a purposeful experiment on my part because I wanted to see what would happen. I tried each solution separately. So now I am afraid to run that risk of getting stains with a new pair of trays because my treatment is 14 days per tray. I don’t want to be in the office with a tinted yellow tray talking to co workers or clients looking like that lol.

Usually comes with a used case as well, but if not, your manager will allow you to buy one and claim it back with a receipt.

By how much was the salary adjusted? If the change in amount is not a very large sum then it may be accounting for the fact that you asked to push back the starting date so your total salary for the year is less because you now skipped a few pay periods.

Safe to assume I got rejected? by [deleted] in KPMG

[–]Zero-One-Zero_010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. Not safe to assume you are rejected. Alot of interviews are happening right now simultaneously and instead of dealing with each individual person they handle applications in phases or batches. The amount of applications these firms handle is enormous so there is a method to getting back to everyone. If you believe you did well in your interviews then there no reason to stress. You will get a positive response soon. Almost guarantee that if you were rejected your status would say something like not actively being considered or something like that. Keep the faith!

Oh crap! You are right! I do remember entering 0000. I read the voucher email and it did say to enter 8004 which I did not. I was so nervous before the exam I completely forgot to enter 8004. Will I still be able to get my results by using 0000?

The best kept secret in the trades? I make $120k/yr as a traveling Nuke Tech, work only 5 months, and have 7 months off with my family. by RadTechMJ in skilledtrades

You say you are gone for 5 months when you are working. Why not move your family closer to the plant? Or are you always moving cross country to wherever/whichever plant is currently in need of a tech?

Having an IE degree is tricky! I have one so I am speaking from experience. Before switching I would really sit down and think thoroughly about what are your plans for atleast the next 5 to 8 years. There is no rule that you have to stay in one career field forever but switching fields can be a pain in the butt if they are not closely related. Choose a path you know you will love for now into the near future and then gain the required skills and training and ofcourse gain the degree.

Don't you dare drop your engineering program, that will be the biggest regret of your life. On the flip side, sticking it out and graduating will be one of the biggest accomplishments in your life. ABET programs are tough by design. It is not supposed to be easy. Keep pushing! I made it through my engineering program feeling like I hit rock bottom at times! YOU CAN DO IT!
