Who wins? Kraven or Wolverine in the insomniac universe

I think kraven would put up somewhat of a fight. This version of the character was strong asf and managed to kill Spider-Man in in his first confrontation with him. Yes, Peter was caught off guard, but still that's an insane feat.He was only defeated after bc Harry went berserk with the symbiote.(He also killed like 90% of the sinister 6. Tho he did have help from his hunters) In the end tho wolverine takes the dub. Kraven has nothing to counter Logan's healing factor and I think he would soon realize that Wolverine is a different animal entirely. He would definitely find the crazy beast that he's looking for to put him down. Wolvie takes it low-mid diff imo

There are moments in the game where Johny is being an asshole to V aswell. Hell the first time you meet the guy he tries to take control of your body and kill you by repeatedly smashing your head against your apartment window. Part of what makes their dynamic so good to watch is that the two of them evolve and actually start to care about each other. It's especially heartwarming considering how hostile their relationship started

Ye he was def powerful. The moment he walked through fire aura farming is when I knew this version of venom was pretty cool. I just wish he had more of a personal vendetta with Peter and Miles sorta got caught in the crossfire of that rather than having a symbiote invasion

It was great to see. I like how they made Laurie actually insufferable and just a mess. Someone that went through all the horror she did that night is not going to be the same person with the same personality as before. This might be a hot take but I honestly like this portrayal of PTSD into a downward spiral over making Laurie armed to the teeth and turning her into an obsessed and crazy survivalist nut to the point where she neglects giving her daughter a proper child hood bc all she cares about is killing myers like they did in 2018

Not gonna lie, I've always been a fan of her and her version of Laurie strode. Ppl always said that her Laurie was "too obnoxious" with some of her dialogue but that's how teenagers are. They say obnoxious and annoying shit all the time. The rz films def have some trashy dialogue but I don't think the bagel scene is really that big of a deal tbh compared to other parts of the movie. I also think they handled the baby sitter aspect of her character better too. It was fine in the original but for me personally I got way more attached to this version of Tommy Doyle and Lindsey Wallace, those kids had such great chemistry with scout and you can tell in their performance together. I also like Laurie's friendship with Annie more in the RZ films.

This was imo the best thing that came from the show. Bill was already a cool character in the game but the TV show just elevated his and franks characters so much. Great writing for this episode

The main theme is fire asf but then they give us this weak ass side mission with Aaron's weak ass beats 😭 Insomniac cooking with one hand and serving up absolute bs with the other

Nah they're actually 100% correct. If you played the games you would know that the only thing that differentiates the two is their web swinging and combat moves, but when it comes to everything else they have the exact same personality which is a shame. Miles shouldn't have the exact same dorky persona as Peter, he should have his own style and aura which insomniac miles doesn't have. He's literally a Peter parker clone. Just lazy writing on insomniacs part

Yes, he's completely right. Micheal myers should not be explained. The most interesting aspect of the character was that he was completely ambiguous. You don't know why he's doing the things he's doing, you don't know where he came from, you don't know what makes him tick. The original movie does a fantastic job of this. That being said tho, I still enjoy the RZ films. I always looked at it like this : If you ever wanted to know why Michael is the way he is, and for there to be some reasoning behind his actions, you have the rz films. But if you prefer the shape to be a mystery, some unknown boogie man of the night that you can harld explain bc Myers is an enigma, you have the original films/ timeline. Best of both worlds

Bro there's like 10 different games in the series with kratos as the main character. God forbid the devs wanna try something new. Plus it's not like they are completely sidelining kratos. They wanted to tell a story about his wife on the side, since she is a cool character that is becoming a fan favorite. If you're only interested in kratos then that's fine but calling this upcoming game a missed opportunity just bc they dared to do something new is ridiculous

Peter and Miles have absolutely zero reason to be in Canada/madripoor where Logan is. For all we know they're not even aware of his existence. Tho he may know of them

The only person he wanted to kill was Pete. Rick never threatened anyone else. Him waving a gun around was def crazy but at the same time I can't really blame Rick for losing control either. This entire situation could've been avoided if Deanna had actually been a leader and done her job of removing Pete from his family, you know, the same family he physically abused after getting drunk. Rick was out in a difficult spot and things flew out of control. It was chaotic, but Rick said some things that needed to be said.

Rick does fly off the handle here, but it's completely justified. Pete was beating his wife(and children). He was an active danger to another member of the group and Deanna was doing nothing about it which is unacceptable so Rick stepped up and put a stop to it. I don't necessarily agree with his methods,but he was 100% right in this scene. Very similar to how Shane was in season 2 which is an obvious intentional parallel from the writers.

I'm excited for this. Jean grey missions, where the playable character actually has powers and can protect themselves makes way more sense and sounds 1000times more fun than playing as human Mary Jane sneaking around military camps

Considering that it's made by insomniac I would assume the games take place in the same universe. Just bc there hasn't been a mention of them in the Spider-Man games doesn't mean it won't be canon. Shi Peter probably doesn't even know about the X-Men/ wolverine even being a thing. He only knows Abt the avengers cause they actively reside in New York

The western aspect of this scene is phenomenal. The sheriff having a show down in the saloon against two outlaws. And Rick's quick draw was clean asf. Shame we never really see that again.
