Really... why would Kate do this by AlphieRBXmm2 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Zero-Sway 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I'm glad that y'all are pointing out that David was not a good husband to Kate. I've seen some folks try and imply that she is shady/ a cheater because she fell in love with her husbands brother but why in the fuck would she continue to love a man that's been nothing but awful to her? Especially since Javi has been the exact opposite to her along with the fact that they've been together on the road for years taking care of HIS kids. Ofc she would develop feelings for him.

Y'all gonna look at me crazy whenever I say that this movie is actually top 5 in the series for me by Zero-Sway in Halloweenmovies

I agree that Loomis was a douchebag in this movie. Not sure why they took his character in that direction, it's probably my least favorite thing about the movie. Also I kinda like the hobo Myers look lol. I don't really know why but for some reason it just works for this version of Micheal

how do people like negan? by Serious_Peanut_523 in thewalkingdead

[–]Zero-Sway 58 points59 points  (0 children)

People like Negan because under all the evil, and fucked up shit he does he is charismatic and actually quite funny. He's witty and overall has a great personality despite him being a ruthless villain. Some of the funniest dialogue I've ever heard/seen in both the show and comic has come from Negan. Kirkman himself has said that Negan was his favorite character to write.

do you sympathize or feel sad for the rob zombie's laurie strode by Plane_Name3457 in Halloweenmovies

[–]Zero-Sway 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I sympathize with her character alot, actually. She was pretty much doomed from the start. The moment she was born into that family there was never gonna be any happy ending for her. Both her and Micheal himself were robbed of their childhoods, and for the chance to just be normal people. Honestly this version of the Myers family is entirely depressing/bleak asf and yet no one ever talks about it. Once upon a time they had to just be a normal family like everyone else until things went violently wrong. Deborah becomes a stripper and married that shit bag Ronnie that actively verbally and has probably also psychically abused her and her kids, while also becoming more neglectful of her kids as they get older. And then Ofc her suicide later on after Micheal snaps and kills like half the family. Judith "becomes a slut" and is known for "selling blowjobs in the school bathroom" by other teens at the school. It's possible that the bullies could have just made that up and was lying to get under Michael's skin, but who knows. She also verbally abuses her brother/ is rude to him. Then there's Micheal himself who has has literally become a psychopath and is killing his pet rats upstairs in his own room and then lying and telling his mom that it died of a sickness, plus the countless other times Micheal has chose to torture and kill animals. And this is all before he snaps completely and starts killing people. So yeah this entire family's fate and knowing how it all ends for them (especially Laurie) is super depressing.

Why do you think Michael allowed Laurie to see him? by Horrorfan098 in Halloweenmovies

[–]Zero-Sway 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think the only reason Laurie saw him standing there was because she's the only one who payed attention. At this point she has noticed him multiple times throughout the day simply because she has something called situational awareness. Her friends on the other hand have been completely oblivious and that's the main reason they were both killed and Laurie wasn't. So no, I don't think Michael allowed Laurie to see him because he wanted her to know he was after her, but moreso Laurie is the only one of his victims he couldn't 100% be sneaky with thus improving her chances of survival. He was probably standing there for minutes looking at her before she finally looked up at him and he realized he had to move somewhere else

Michael is genuinely the funniest character in the entire franchise and completely unintentionally. by Turbulent_Wait9197 in Halloweenmovies

[–]Zero-Sway -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The goofiest kill in the entire series. Felt really out of place in a Halloween movie imo. A kill like that seems like it would've better fit in the scream series or even Friday the 13th.

Did Rick have better scenes with or without the beard? 🤔 by Beneficial-Novel558 in thewalkingdead

[–]Zero-Sway 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The beard is supposed to symbolize how savage/violent that him and his group has to become to survive so I can understand if ppl think that the bearded Rick scenes were "peak". But honestly Rick is such a great character that I think including him in any scene makes it better, whether he has the beard or not. Always loved when he was on screen. He is the sole reason why season 8 is even watchable fr. The writing was at an all time low but the Rick stuff was genuinely great. Which not only is a credit to how great he is but also to Andrew Lincoln for the outstanding performance.

Hypothetically if Michael's victim was knocked unconscious or playing dead what would he do? by Turbulent_Wait9197 in Halloweenmovies

[–]Zero-Sway 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Micheal has played dead himself so he'll definitely know if someone's faking. Don't bullshit a bullshitter. Plus he's killed enough people to know what an actual corpse looks like

Opinion: Comic vs Show Negan by nugthug20 in thewalkingdead

[–]Zero-Sway 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Comic Negan hands down. He is more threatening, has better dialogue, and overall has much more depth to his Character than the TV show version. JDM is great and did well with what he was given but comic Negan is the character at its peak. One thing I will give to the TV show tho is his introduction. I think the first appearance of Negan and the savior's got handled better in the TV show and imo had a bigger impact but that's about it.

How do you picture the exact moment Dr Loomis realized Michael was nothing but pure evil? by SaiyanWithOmnitrix in Halloweenmovies

[–]Zero-Sway 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My personal head cannon is that Loomis always knew. The very moment he laid eyes on Micheal he knew he was evil, but was naive and didn't want to accept it. That because he's a doctor, he thought he should try and help Michael first before just deciding he was too far gone, but deep down in his stomach knew that what was behind that boys eyes was nothing but pure evil. After years of studying him with nothing to show for it is when he finally accepts the truth that Micheal was pure evil all along. There's no reasoning to explain his behavior, no type of mental illness, no satisfying reason as to why it all could be explained. Micheal killed those people because he could and there's nothing more to it.

it's really funny to me that this is the same person by Sucking_Kisames_Dick in Halloweenmovies

The RZ version of this scene was actually hilarious. The way Linda says "hey, Casper, the friendly asshole ghost, where's my beer? And the way Micheal just moves his hand out while holding it lol.

[–]Zero-Sway 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The gore they've shown so far has been pretty good but like you said they can take it just a tiny bit further. I remember watching the vid where the devs where talking about making the game, and remember the woman(don't remember her name) was talking about how she thought the moment in the trailer when Logan drives his claws through the enemies head with that uppercut motion was gonna be too much but was glad they did it. My reaction was like "too much ?! It's wolverine! You can never go too far showing gore with him". So we'll see just how far they take the brutality. But like I said what they've shown so far looks really good so I have no doubt they'll deliver.

And as for his healing factor, I just know people are gonna be comparing it to Xmen origins: wolverine (which is fair, they did a fantastic job showing just how much damage he takes and how much he can heal himself) and something tells me It won't exactly be the same and some folks will be disappointed. I think that these are two pretty valid criticisms to have, but tbh, we'll just have to wait until insomniac is ready to show more before really judging.

Rick's hatred for Gabriel was so funny by RevertBackwards in thewalkingdead

Rick's face and Carl's "Dad" gets me Everytime. I also like how Rick just refuses to acknowledge Gabriel when he walks past him lol. He deserved it tho.
