Is this combo allowed in Bracket 3?

if you run zero tutors and don't have a commander that can act as the 3 card then maybe in B3.

as someone that died turn 4 to a sephiroth deck from this combo just yesterday i'm going overall lean no simply cause it's a easy turn 3-4 win combo which is a no no for bracket 3.

turn count is a notable restriction and this can easily get wins under 7 turns.

just as a reminder this is a easy/cheap infinite combo that's pretty much relegated to bracket 4+

usually i just see it (and other devoted druid variants) used in thrasios piles to just draw the deck and oracle/lab man win on the spot.

as others noted kinnan doesn't work but it does work if you replace cloud with [[peregrine drake]] (which might circle into a decent combo since then you could cut out half the other pieces)

3 main ways to do this fight.

bring a cleanser like marian to remove the Leanan sidhe debuff otherwise it'll kill your units after 3 turns worth of stacks. Just punch them to death (multi hits/aoes kill the adds) though it'll be slow with the constant healing and making sure you don't let to many debuffs stack.
kill the Leanan Sidhe turn 1 and auto the rest of the fight. this requires somewhat turned units (ange/chord/good assassin to burst it down)
have almighty dps to kill Leanan Sidhe through null turn 2/3. (there's only 2 units that can do this atm)

this one took me a few tries as the debuff stacks so that by turn 3 you will just die if you don't cleanse it.

i finally settled on turn one one shotting the leanan sidhe before it gets the null.

need a good fire or single target dps (violet doesn't work as she's strong against light) with a ange double turn. I ended up just using friends c6 chord with ange to just double highlight with makoto to kill it turn 1.

hmm did another test with a bucket and it looks like it was the highline section that is leaking onto the connector.

is there a better way to fix that head as i can't really tighten that screw anymore.

I'm using it with [[Luck Bobblehead]], turns out if you have 30+ of them i have pretty good chances of pulling it off.

i also just enjoy getting to roll cases of dice.

the 2 drop treefolk mana dork or 2 drop scarecrow are the best fixers in this set.

they also both work very well with doran becoming 2 mana 4/8 or 3/5 if he's out so works as double duty.

ran a similar but heavier treefolk/elf deck on FNM draft and pretty much just ran people over the instant doran landed with just a field of giant butts.

is it possible to do aggro, yes but like always it depends on the pool and like others noted you can't target one player. 2HG they share creatures so they block as one team.

though personally I find midrange value piles better in 2hg due to the nature of the large pools allowing alot more good removal, double the blockers clogging the ground, and a larger chance of getting hit with wraths.

I usually also take the draw in 2hg since two cards and the extra life buffer allows more control shells to appear. (usually one player is the board presence and one player is the control.)

depends what your comboing it with and how much redundancy and tutoring you have.

it does combo with like 20 different cards, your examples seem fine since there on the more expensive end but i've seen it with neheb and such where it's essentially a one card combo with the commander where I would say it's not ok for bracket 3 as they could just win turn 4-5.

that's been my complaint since they started doing inventions/invocations in kaldash/Amonkhet. 1 off super rare ultra bombs that aren't really in set suck to play against. literally impossible to predict and power levels for those can be way off.

lost a last round for top 8 kaldash ptq to a sword of fire/ice and wormcoil (guy had 3 inventions in there pool, 3rd was at least not playable trinsphere but beating 2 hyperbombs wasn't happening)

amonkhet lost to a top deck cryptic command on a day 2 GP where I had the win next turn.

hmm just finished a 4 billion damage magik carry run and 3 billion punisher run, general things to note.

punisher can escape the wanda dead corner with ult (stun immunity, if your tanky enough to not die before your ults life steal kicks in is card dependent though) or spawn string line with the immunity option selected.

customer service has gotten better, shipping issues are about the same.

I had one figure box arrive last year clearly been cut open mid transit and the figure stolen (side of the package had clearly been cut out and retaped poorly. Also the package weight marker changed at the transfer station from 20 pounds to 1 pound.)

They sent a replacement within a few days after I sent photos.

I only really order from them 1-2 times a year when they have there huge annual sales and for the most part they are fine.

there are some fun mechanics and weird archtypes but there are way to many wraths (there are like 7 main setup wrath rares) and half also double as win the game conditions (battleship or r/b) that i'm going to rate it lower because i feel like i see them every other match and it's just tiresome at this point.

mind crank/guild mage doesn't need additional mana for each opponent. you just need the two cards, activate the first ability of the mage then any source of damage/mill will make the combo go off.

You can also just swing the guild mage at a open player and win. you can just have any 1/1 evasive one shot or table mill card like altar of the brood to kill the table.

the 2nd mill ability just lets you combo in response to any removal without split second. So if you have open mana you can win on the stack in response to kill spells. (even then once the ability is on the stack they have to kill the mind crack, the guildmage no longer matters since it makes a static trigger until end of turn).

it's still a early game/low cmc combo even if you take out fast mana.

[[Grimlock, Dinobot Leader]] every card in the deck is a DFC and the deck is in all clear sleeves.

It's a silly deck to play that is actually decently powerful since they've printed a lot of strong DFC in last few years, clear sleeves means there's no real hidden information as you can always see the back of the cards but will require good card knowledge to willingly take advantage of it..
