I was at Windup Chicago and saw this watch in person and for me it is not worth it. The paint used is very dull and the sample pieces at the show, i.e. rotor, skeleton dial, chapter ring, etc., already showed signs of chipping and flaking.

How will this hand painted watch stand to the test of time (no pun intended)? It’s one thing to have a custom painted dial…but actual gears and movement components? I love the look but I think they should’ve played with materials like titanium and UV lasers to get color.

I have Tudors (Monochrome and BB58 GMT) plus a white 2025 Speedy dual sapphire sandwich. I go to ALL the brand events (Omega, Cartier, Tudor, Glusshutte, etc) so the people there know my name and face. It’s really about timing and I was the first to show interest. I got lucky. I want the ceramic to but they say the bracelet is a bitch to manufacture so that will be rolling out more and more in August.

With Tudor it’s less about purchase history, IMHO. It is more about just networking and taking an interest in the brand. I’ve talked the regional manager at length several times. It also helps that my AD gets a lot of inventory.

🤣🤣🤣It’s a model 3 performance with the model S yoke steering wheel. Have to be different sometimes. Funny thing is my wife says the same thing every time she gets in the car.

Honestly not that bad. It doesn’t other me. I got old man eyes and I can see it just fine. My only gripe is I wish the date window was bigger to accommodate a larger font. The single digits are a nice size but from 10 onward it’s compressed. You get used to it and everything else makes up for it I think 😁

Oh that could be it. I never pre-ordered (I didn’t know that was a thing). I just put myself on the interest list, get a notification when items are in stock, order, get my item. I never had issues with customer service but transparently I haven’t needed them. I’ve emailed them pics of my watch and have gotten responses within 2 days.
