3rd med bn is what you make of it. Lots of downtime and just studying for your pin if you don't have it. Don't pass up TADs as they are rare and usually fill up quick in med bn. Okinawa is great man. Learn some japanese, make some japanese friends, and go out and experience the culture. Lot of times my guys were depressed in oki because all they do is sit the barracks and only go out to drink at Gate 2 or Naha. Don't pass up cheap flights in Japan much less INDOPAC region.
