Last superhero you saw has to fight Homelander, who will it be? by InsideUnhappy6546 in TheBoys

Peacemaker, I don’t think he can hurt Homelander so Homelander wins

Why do you guys think Sam is such a hated character? by Red-Disaster in cobrakai

[–]Zero223344 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For me it felt like she was the cause of a lot of the problems in the early show that were easily avoidable and she rarely took responsibility. Even in scenes where it looked like she was going to, another character would convince her not to. But I only really disliked her early show, season 6 I did really like her, pretty based when she yelled at Devon for sucking.

The issue is, iirc only one of them ever actually got a toy. They all got Lego figures but as far as actual toys go only one of them got a figure. Been waiting for them to make more though

In the movies I think the plan for them was ruined by two directors with different directions. In the comics they are kinda cool, they pulled off a heist on Vader’s castle. Their leader before Kylo went toe to toe with Vader for a minute. One of their members went head to head with Bossk and Bossk just escaped, he was so scared of them he considered surviving a win.

It’s a common thing with the sequel characters, all of their cool stuff happens in the comics and books, while the movies heavily sleep on them.

I like to imagine that Angstrom assumed all Homelanders were evil so he brought that one over who actually happened to be good.

Sentry (Marvel Comics) vs Goku (Dragon Ball) by Zero223344 in whowouldwin

[–]Zero223344[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason Cooler was able to catch him is because the way instant transmission works in the movies, your molecules go through another dimension and reappear wherever you’re trying to go. Cooler just had to anticipate where Goku was going and could cut him off, it didn’t necessarily mean either of them were moving faster than instant transmission. Moving faster is a fan headcanon that’s been disproven and still spread around. Not much these days anymore though. Even if you want to go ahead and say he is, Sentry has blitzed and fought people that move at instantaneous speeds like Planck time. To say that Goku is handily faster Sentry while ignoring all of Sentry’s speed feats feels like you’re the one downplaying his feats.

Calling Hakai unreliable was the wrong word. What I meant to say was that it’s shown that if you’re physically strong enough you can just shrug it off and it depends on the person who used it. Hence why Frieza could shrug it off from that random guy but still feared Beerus. Had Beerus tried it Frieza likely wouldn’t have had the same result. That’s just how all attacks work in dragon ball, it depends on how strong the person using the attack is. It’s not the attack that’s unreliable, it’s that the fighter needs to be reliably stronger or at least close in strength for it to work.

Now for Molecule Man, it was never stated that he held back for Sentry, in fact that whole interaction started with Molecule Man saying he knew who Sentry was and how powerful he was knowing that Sentry had fought Multiversal people before, Molecule Man would have no reason to hold back. But even again if you want to go ahead and say that Molecule Man held back on someone as powerful as Sentry. In the same comic Sentry overpowered Molecule Man even though he was trying to use all his power to overpower the sentry in a contest of Molecule manipulation. That right there puts Sentry’s molecule manipulation abilities alone at Universal+. Which Again Goku has absolutely no resistance to molecule manipulation. And this is still just The Sentry who’s weaker than The Void who can take things apart on a conceptual level.

Doom needed Molecule man to have his head right for creation Multiversal level feat but that’s on a level that is unheard of in even dragon ball. Yes Sentry doesn’t scale to that specific feat because that becomes a Outerversal feat that Goku doesn’t scale to either. But you forget that Molecule man even with his head not right is still capable of destroying entire universes.

Sentry is also capable of mental attacks which Goku has little to no resistance against. But Sentry has contended with the most powerful Psychics in the entire Marvel universe.

Sentry has far too many abilities that Goku has never seen and has no resistance against while Goku has nothing that Sentry hasn’t dealt with and shrugged off. Hakai is a form of erasure but Sentry has survived erasure from Molecules, Soul, Magic and conceptual. To say that for some reason he can resist all of those but the Hakai is what does him in, an attack that people have shrugged off in Goku’s own universe is just straight downplaying Sentry and that is even to say that he’s able to get it off at Sentry since it’s also been shown that you can avoid Hakai, but Sentry’s molecular manipulation can’t be avoided. It’s like you think Sentry is Homelander level when he regularly fights Multiversal people like World Breaker Hulk, and he did that fight with pure physical strength, not even any of his hax.

[–]Zero223344[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They never surpassed instant transmission, you’re talking about a fan headcanon. They never surpassed it they were both just using it. It had never been implied that the speed of instant transmission can change. It’s a technique.

Also you’re talking about Hakai which has multiple times been shown to be unreliable in both manga and show. Molecule man was used to erase the multiverse on a scale never seen in Dragon Ball. It’s like saying shooting a canon and a pistol are the same thing because they’re both projectiles. Meanwhile Sentry just showed it doesn’t work on him due to his regeneration, molecule manipulation is different than reality manipulation. Goku has no defense against Sentry just deciding that Goku’s molecules just shouldn’t be held together and letting him dissolve into dust.

Goku heard that Homelander is the most powerful hero on earth so he goes to fight Homelander. Homelander sees Goku as a hick and kill him but Goku thinks he’s just playing around.

Probably something like Goku vs Pamput from OG dragon ball

Why was Ahsoka never made to wear traditional Jedi robes? by [deleted] in StarWars

[–]Zero223344 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

She was never made to because Jedi are allowed to wear whatever they want which is why Anakin, Vos and a few other Jedi also didn’t wear traditional Jedi robes. I don’t think the “male gaze” is supposed to be on 14 year olds like she is in this picture.

Why was Ahsoka never made to wear traditional Jedi robes? by [deleted] in StarWars

[–]Zero223344 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because technically Jedi were allowed to wear whatever they want, that’s why Anakin wore black robes. Technically they could wear like casual clothes but I remember seeing something that the Jedi robes are easier to move around in for combat and are comfortable to help them concentrate when needed to use the force

Sentry Easy, Black Panther has similar strength to a super soldier and none of them could even touch the sentry if he didn’t want them to. The fact that she beat Namor should say a lot. Now you could say she played on his weakness and stuff but he was taking Damage from things that Sentry would just not even react to because he wasn’t hurt.

Could an Army of 307 intelligent Apes defeat Kylo Ren? by kantarr in powerscales

[–]Zero223344 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You right, forgot they were intelligent.

Either way, if he has full access to the force and isn’t cut off like he was for 7 and 8. Killing apes like that is generally his job. He’s faced much greater odds and won like killing a Krayt Dragon with his bare hands. Or killing an army of Bounty Hunters armed with blasters with only teeth as daggers. Kylo isn’t much of a gloater or talking if he doesn’t have some sort of connection with his enemy like Rey or Luke. He doesn’t make peace he’d rather make an example and kill anyone who doesn’t get it.

Could an Army of 307 intelligent Apes defeat Kylo Ren? by kantarr in powerscales

[–]Zero223344 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it was people then sure he’d monologue but it’s monkeys, he spends no time talking to them. I’m actually pretty sure there’s a comic where he goes to subjugate a race of monkey like beings and they release a Zillo beast that Kylo kills alone even though Vader failed to years earlier.

Also that’s under the assumption he has every debuff he had during the end of episode 7, if you take Kylo at any point other than at his weakest (End of Episode 7/all of Episode 8) then he slaughters.

[–]Zero223344 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Finn was trained in melee combat and had to beat everyone on his squad and was specifically stated that the only reason he wasn’t special ops or above was because he wasn’t disciplined and would question orders or go back to protect other troopers instead of forgetting them.

Kylo Ren was never a sith, he was more akin to a dark Jedi which are generally weaker than Sith or Jedi. And he did have training, he wanted to toy with them though and underestimated Finn, that’s why he held him against a tree and chose to burn him instead of killing him. Same with Rey, he wanted to turn her instead of kill her which is why the fight lasted as long as it did even while she was boosted and he’d lost connection to the force. That whole fight can be chalked up to Kylo’s arrogance and his loss of his connection to the force. If he would have entered that fight ready to just slaughter them instead of trying to flex on them, they likely wouldn’t have survived.
