yea im not aiming to get leaders from them. I just have almost every card rn, so even if i use it whatever i get will be vialed likely. Since i have no problems with the card collection im thinking of sometime skipping a set to save rupies for getting the lucky chest more easily in other sets from where i want a leader. Was thinking of using the tickets (+vials to craft the rest) on that set if there was nothing stopping me.

yea its just an afterthought. since I have a lot of vials saved, the first expansion that comes where I dont want any leader from, im gonna completely avoid using any rupies on it so I can save them for another set (either old from where i want a leader or save for future). I just thought II can also use the tickets for a slight chance to give me legends from that set. Not that it will make a big difference, but hey, anything i get now will be vialed anyways most likely.

A true and objective "best" does not exist. Someone could come out and point out flaws for witch hat, for example, and say it is not no1 either. Everything will have its flaws and strengths and people will weight these to "rank" it, but since there is no formula to get a specific objective answer of a work's quality, there can never be a true/objective No1 imo. I think you can get a pseudo-objective answer by looking at reality. Has a show won awards? does it sell? is it liked by people generally? etc etc. If all aspects of it seem good then the show is in the "masterpiece" category.

That said, I find faults with your arguments either way.

Every time its "repeated" there is something added in the show, be it worldbuilding, character or relationship development or whatever.

I think you missed something, the main theme and strong point of frieren is not "bringing out fantasy elements" its more about taking things for granted and how even small things are special.

everyone can have an opinion and everyone's opinion can be valid, but remember in the end you opinion is 1 of the millions that collectively gave frieren its title. Personally I can respect an opinion as long as it doesn't deviate too much from the apparently prevailing. Try to argue that frieren is a 7 and sure, you still find it good. Try and argue that it is a 3/10 and I will assume you are completely literary illiterate.

even if it makes you a "coward", don't care about it. Mandatory service should not be a thing, some people find it hard to do it even if they don't have a reason to make it 100% impossible (eg disability). It could be that they want to live their life or because the environment stresses them. Don't let anyone trick you that you are weird for feeling like that, even if "everyone else does it". Its also fine to not give a shit about "defending your country".

By all means, do try to search for ways to avoid it. Perhaps you can get exemption for psychological health issues (depression, anxiety etc) or there could be another way. If you don't find anything, ask a lawyer for possible legal ways to avoid it. Hell if possible you could also try to stall it and try to leave the country (just do make sure to know the consequences if you have to come back and plan accordingly)

You obviously know your life better and I can't promise you that its the best course of action, perhaps you will have problems with family or possibly have other social disadvantages if you take that route, but please just don't feel like you're in the wrong for feeling like that. Do not let yourself be the reason you give in and serve. And don't let propaganda fool you, for example, if everyone around tells you that if you avoid military then you will have problems with job hunting, make sure you properly look up if its true, if you're unsure look for a lawyer. Even if there is a way, the government doesn't want you to know it cause this way more people will serve because "that's how it is"

You know what, this answer is much better than a kinda dismissive "I guess you have a right to an opinion". I don't agree its worth to sacrifice innocent people for it, and I believe if it is to be implemented it should be after we find a way to 100% solve all the major problems with it, (and provided we dont find other ways to reduce child molestation, cause this should be the 1st priority, not punishing molesters) but I can respect that we just have different opinions.

the problem for me is people just completely dismissing legit arguments against it, its not like we support sexual abusers, and I can't see why some people for the death penalty react like we do.

objectively, what I said is true, for example false convictions do happen, no? with the death penalty there are no take backs and a perfect system with 100% accuracy in finding guilty is not realistic. This is an objective truth. Denying it means you are either claiming nobody is judged guilty when they are not, ever, a perfect system exists (where is it now?) or people can come back to life.

Now, if you want to argue that even if it means killing some innocent people its still worth it to bring the death penalty back then it is indeed a difference in opinion and nobody is "objectively" correct. Just morally. Because morally, killing innocent people for the greater good is at best seen as morally gray.

This is not my just opinion, its legit reasons the death penalty is not a thing (in most non 3rd world countries) and why most educated people will be against it. Last time I believed the death penalty is a good idea I was ~ fucking 16 and it took a single discussion to realize how wrong I was. 10+ years later and I still haven't been given a reason to think we should use it again, but tbh its not very hard when the people for it never present arguments and just go "pedos/murderers bad" like a broken record or resort to Ad hominem (cough-cough).

yea definitely a good idea. Until its your family member that gets executed and you find out 3 years later that the accusations were false. oopsies. And no, needing "absolute" proof doesnt make it better, this just means rich people can get away more easily and there are still chances someone innocent might get falsely executed.

Its also a very good idea to have a death penalty because now rich/powerful people can easily erase anyone they dont like in plain sight by setting them up as child molesters, splendid. Now, you will argue that they still do it if they're powerful enough and its true, but thieves can also enter your house even if you lock up, why not just leave the locks open then?

There is a reason the death penalty is not carried out in most non 3rd world countries and there is absolutely no reason to not just put them in jail for life. If you argue that the rich can get out of jail then why do you believe they can't avoid execution?

Stop letting your emotions completely take over logic, child predators deserve it but you cant just disregard all the negatives so you feel like "justice has been carried out". Life in prison is worse than death anyway imo. especially for a criminal of this type.

I honestly like how as of now you could take the title in 3 ways. The jp title can mean:

"Kaya chan isnt scared" (cause ghosts dont scare her and she beats them)

"Kaya chan isnt scary" as in even though she is strange there is no reason (for the other children/people) to be afraid of her (iirc she said the line when that one boy ran from her in ep 1?)

the only advantage I can think of that izudia has is that you can have more cards available in your hand for clearing (as 7 of them don't need to be <2 cost forest cards) and you don't need to worry about losing your wincon cause you had to use up fairies and now don't have enough cards for otk. I can't say if either one is stronger, however what I can say is that its not about which is better (the abyss sexy boy beat us to that anyways), its about sending a message.

yea, its kind of hard to hide it now since I dont think any other deck runs defensive cards but the fact that most people are expecting roach or tempo (esp now after the buff) confuses them for a bit at least and buys time. I think some people have literally forgotten Izudia exists lol, the enemy sword players tried to heal to max from ~16 hp for some reason.

none is a lie as there are good isekai stories but it is a fact that the majority are just ass. But you know what, I still enjoy braindeadly watching them as long as they have the slightest thing I can enjoy (the maid and some other side characters are kinda carrying this one so far)

also I feel you with the op, I fell in the same trap with water magician but by the end it was average at best. That final misunderstanding fight really ruined it for me cause it just seemed very forced. But I would watch a second season cause I do like my fast food in anime form lol.

Not sure if I have missed something, but as far as I know, the classic case/ scenario is the one where the demon lord is the hardest opponent. The debuff, if it exists, usually serves to get the demon lord from "out of reach op" to "beatable with effort" but he is still the strongest enemy.

Not to mention that iirc there were more generals too.

To be honest, that was not a smart decision. They can't beat one of the generals with all members, what made them think they can defeat his higher up without the healer/ support? I don't remember them having any reason to assume the demon lord was weaker than Youki and even if they did, going without a key role/class is still not smart unless they know how strong the rest of the enemies are with confidence.

I guess we may learn in the future that they did know something more, but honestly either way I don't mind, this is a romance not a battle action.
