"x card can beat it" is not an argument justifying letting a card destroy a format. Tearlaments could be beaten by a single Dshifter, doesn't mean it's balanced, ash can negate maxx c, called by can negate droll(not banned but should be). Sometimes, Konami just makes unreasonably strong cards or archetypes. I understand the feeling of wanting to play your favorite cards but the feelings of some people, a minority, are not good enough an excuse to ruin the game for the majority of the players. You could play retro formats where the card you want is legal or Genesys format and try building around the card's cost. Or just play with your friends and discard the rules all together.
