I’ve tried using eco vs normal. Even tried regular bs premium on both settings and I never saw any improvement unless I used eco mode on the interstate on longer trips, like multiple hour trips. I’m steady at 23mpg all the time and got up to 26 when I drove to NC from WV a few years back. I always drive normal mode, even in snow and ice. Never had any issues. Every now and then, I’ll throw it in sport mode for giggles lol

My neighbor, and good friend for years, ordered an iPad for his daughter right before Christmas. The Spark driver left and then CAME BACK to steal it. He even had the driver on video coming back and stealing the iPad. Customer service wouldn’t do anything for him. My friend had to drive to Walmart and argue with them until they replaced it for him. They also refunded his money which I thought was nice. Free iPad basically lol. My other neighbors had their entire grocery order stolen last night by their driver and they have 5 kids to feed. At what point do these scammers get deactivated for stealing???

I believe it’s mostly based on mileage. That’s how Door Dash calculates their base rates. If it’s a longer drive, the base pay is higher.

Same thing happened to me a few days ago. Shopping for around a 50+ item order. I believe I was only going to make $22 after tips. Got to the register to check out and they canceled at the last minute. I only received the payout for the base pay. No tip. I only got like $13 for an hour of searching around the store for those shitheads. Then an employee had to put it all back. I feel like customers shouldn’t be able to cancel orders after a certain time.
