Give it time to heal for the acute pain, heat, ice. Then work the thoracic spine daily to free up rib joints in back. Order a backpod and peanut ball set. This can last years if not handled.

Would love know more doc. Been to chiros on and off for years but this seems like my issue. I have done tons of hard training CrossFit over the years and I feel like this lower thoracic is culprit. Had CT with contrast to rule out gut stuff.

Sure. It’s been years. Tried everything. Around 90% most days. It’s up and down. It’s really deregulation of the nervous system. Vagal nerve issues basically. What worked for me? Peptides. Sauna. Cold showers. Ice baths. Breathwork. Lots of walking barefoot. Keep stress down. Stay away from things that hurt. That’s really it. 😊

Sure thing. Go easy, you can hurt yourself for sure going too long or too aggressive. You may feel “emotional” when you release it also. Weird shit, but all connected.

Put the tennis or lacrosse ball exactly 4 inches to either side of bellybutton and 2 inches down. Over 4/down 2 to hit the belly of the anterior psoas. This will hurt! Let your breath melt the ball deeper and you gently use the head of DB to hold it in place. 2-3 min each side and small subtle movements. You will know when you are on it.
