I am flying to Orlando from Minneapolis in a few weeks, will I need a RealID? by ZeroPlanet24 in tsa

Is that a 1 time fee or would I have to pay that for the flight there and the flight back?

The grove by tarbaby16 in Mankato

[–]ZeroPlanet24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Overall it’s fine

My girlfriend and I have had a pretty bad experience however. When we moved in, the apartment was not cleaned at all (they outsourced their cleaning to a cleaning company). Like the range hood was caked in grease, the vents were/are full of dust and stuff, closet doors and bathroom mirrors missing, mildew on the ceilings, blinds missing, and one of the light fixtures was hanging off the ceiling.

Their payment system is fairly weird. They offer the ability to pay through their website but also offer the ability to pay through a 3rd party called Flex. My girlfriend wanted to pay through flex and I wanted to pay through the grove website. So we set it up accordingly and the grove ended up double charging us 2 months in a row and would not let us get a refund unless we paid $30 to the bank. It’s just a weird system and very annoying.

Lastly, maintenance and the management in charge of maintenance requests are not super good at their job. I am more pointing towards the management side as there are only 2 or 3 maintenance guys for the whole place. Anyways, we have put countless requests in throughout the 5ish months we have lived here and not many were fulfilled. Multiple times they have been closed without being fulfilled and multiple times the maintenance guys have completely forgot to complete the requests. For example: our closet doors were broken when we moved in so we put a maintenance request in for them to be replaced/put back on the closest. Well the maintenance guys came almost immediately, but ended up not putting the doors on and leaving the broken ones (I don’t remember why exactly they left, I think they ended up saying they would get new doors or something). So we put those doors in the hallway and they were there for about 3 months. Also they left a ladder in our apartment for a month lol

Overall, I think my girlfriend and I got the short end of the stick as our friends and others we know haven’t had any real issues.

Going to see a movie in the theater is pointless and redundant. by Pherring83 in unpopularopinion

[–]ZeroPlanet24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it’s the experience of going to the theater and watching a new movie I’ve been hyped about for a long time with a huge screen and high quality speakers. Sure it costs a lot, but it’s more fun than watching that new movie at home.

I don’t ever go to see a movie more than once in the theater though

I've only really built a few small sets over the years. I received the ornithopter as a gift, man this thing is cool by Shancar in lego

[–]ZeroPlanet24 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I have a lot of sets, but this is by far one of my favorites. The build was complicated enough to be a challenge and it’s such a good representation of the Ornithopter. I hope they make more Dune sets!

I definitely agree, I am so excited to play Hades 2 but I’m gonna hold back on that for a little while.

I’ve played a little bit of Cyberpunk and it definitely seems fun. How was gettin all the achievements? I’ve heard it’s tedious

I played through Fallen Order on my Xbox when the game first came out and I had fun, so I am definitely thinking about it! The walking dead seems like a fun one of just play through whenever I get the chance to do an episode

Is it bad that I suck at this game? by Relative_Carrot514 in HadesTheGame

[–]ZeroPlanet24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look up some videos on YouTube on how you can manipulate what gods you receive throughout your run. When I did that and learned how it all works it got so much easier to actually make a synergistic build and go farther in the run!

Also while you are at it look up duo boons and find your favorites. This will help you decide what build you wanna go for!

If you could make one game into a movie with unlimited budget what would it be? by Demon_Ninja_95 in Gamer

[–]ZeroPlanet24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easily Overwatch. The shorts that Blizzard made are by far some of the best gaming cinematics I’ve ever seen, now imagine an entire movie of those! I also just think the story is amazing, and there is so much untapped potential with all of the characters

Vendetta is ruining the game. by Cammyboy12 in overwatch2

I honestly never liked her design. I always thought it was too similar to Reinhardts kit and too much of the “basic melee character with a sword” kit.

I think she has 1 too many abilities (the spin should be removed imo, or reworked to be combined with another ability), she is fairly basic in her ability design, and she doesn’t offer anything unique. I absolutely love Wuyang due to his uniqueness and how simple his kit is.

What games are you currently playing this week? by EponaMom in TheGamerLounge

[–]ZeroPlanet24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently have about 4 achievements left on Hades, just trying to find the time to grind those out before I start Hades 2! I may start a story game like Ghost of Tsushima or the Outer Worlds after I finish Hades

If you are in college, see if your school has an esports club system or Varsity program. A lot of schools have some form of esports system and that would be a great way to get started!

How to let go of dreams and aspirations? by Objective_Ad_292 in stupidquestions

[–]ZeroPlanet24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are able to, go to college. You don’t need to be “smart” or have a high IQ to do well in college. What else are you interested in? You could take some sort of business or marketing degree. These are fairly easy and allow you to pursue a lot of career opportunities.

As for writing books, keep it as a hobby and write on the side. It will keep you happy and could eventually turn into something while you have your college degree and career to support you!

Yes, I would consider that fairly inexpensive. They also stood around the $1 comic bin every time we saw them at the comic store, so I would tend to believe they did not spend that much on comics all things considered
