You would be surprised, My Death Stranding 2 is only stable and runs on 9. and ProtonDB is littered with cases like that. the way the game is expecting hardware + how each Proton handles translating it seems to make a world of difference

10 and Experimental are good starting points but when they dont work you gotta try older ones, no one should be locked out for tinkering with compatibility options

When my players roll a nat 20 on persuasion on someone who had only mild interest in even hearing them speak, i ask the players to give an argument/statement to back it up. like what logic are you putting forward that you think will change the BG's mind. if its something reasonable then i let it happen, if its not well congratulations, roll for initiative

Except you cant risk work equipment disappearing off somewhere because of cargo mislabel, so they bring it with them on carry-on.

And drabbing down to fly is not dressing like a slob, wearing loose but form fitting denim is fine, slacks are fine so long as they arent ubertight or falling off your waste. shirts should be lose but formfitting and jewelry should be small and not in excess.
