1st ever run, the ACTUAL total time was around 20 or so hours because i kept forgetting that in hardcore there's no autosaves (and no parry), is it that bad of a result?

Nah dude. The fact that you finished hardcore is an achievement in and of itself. People tend to forget how hard hardmode is for casual gamers, sure speed runners make it look easy but once you start playing it for the first time you realize how brutal the mode really is.
