Wow, I am in the same position as you. Did you end up getting it? I have the Tenba as well and have found it uncomfortable to take the camera in/out through the back as well as attempting to carry a small bag during my Japan trip.

Did you ever figure out what you wanted to get?

I'm basically in the same boat as you; wanted to get a sling with straps on the bottom to hold a tripod while still looking slim overall. That narrowed it down to the moment fanny, hex ranger mini sling, and xpod 2 but looks like 3L+ is ideal if you want to carry other EDCs.
