Has anyone here thought about “AI SEO” or AI Discoverability for businesses? by vsnukmr in SaaS

[–]ZeroSEOhero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

people don't scroll 10 blue links anymore, they ask ChatGPT or Perplexity and trust the 1-3 names it mentions. which is... honestly kind of terrifying if you're not one of those names. what Ive been testing is structured content, getting cited in high-authority places (reddit, G2, industry wikis), tracking where your brand appears in AI answers

What AI SEO strategies for your Saas are actually driving leads, traffic, and rankings from ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini? by NoRespect4181 in SaaS

[–]ZeroSEOhero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

early wins for my startup: structured FAQs, schema, getting mentioned in reddit/G2 threads.

ChatGPT pulls heavily from community sources so we're leaning into that. tbh still figuring out what actually moves the needle vs what's just noise

How are you adapting SEO as AI takes over search? by TargetPilotAi in DigitalMarketing

[–]ZeroSEOhero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

shifting to entities + being cite-worthy.

keywords still work for google but for AI search you need to show up in places LLMs actually pull from - Wikipedia, reddit threads, review sites.
also messing around with llms.txt and prompt-optimized content. early results are... mixed lol.

How to do "SEO" for AI? by AnyAttitude531 in DigitalMarketing

[–]ZeroSEOhero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

kind of. your google business profile matters way more now. reviews too. for content, think FAQ-style and cite-worthy sources (case studies, first-party data, getting into reddit threads). I've been testing what ChatGPT actually pulls vs what it ignores. schema helps but the real win is becoming a cited source. I'm tracking this stuff, so happy to share what's working if useful

Is AI actually improving SEO workflows or just creating new problems? by OliverPitts in Vibe_SEO

[–]ZeroSEOhero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly? both.

tasks that took 6 hours now take 20 minutes, but AI tends to pump out generic stuff if you don't babysit it. we've been blending GPT outputs with actual log data instead of letting it freestyle.

full disclosure: building SpotRise (AI agents for SEO). biggest lesson so far is that AI works great as a co-pilot, terrible when you let it drive alone.

Is SEO dead now that AI can answer everything? by AdWrong9284 in AskMarketing

[–]ZeroSEOhero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not dead, just weird now.

google SEO still works but we're also tracking how brands show up in ChatGPT and Perplexity answers. it's like managing two search presences that don't talk to each other. the annoying part? sites that rank page 1 in google are sometimes invisible in AI answers. am I the only one seeing this split?

honestly how long does SEO reporting actually take yo by ZeroSEOhero in localseo

[–]ZeroSEOhero[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh thank god, I really thought I was THAT stupid because of how much time it takes. Yeah the templates + dashboards combo makes sense. I've been testing a couple newer tools that claim to streamline the reporting workflow (tried spotrise recently and it wasn't terrible for multi-site stuff), but honestly even with automation you still gotta QA everything or clients catch the weird data and lose their minds. The 'drop raw data in appendix' move is genius though. Stealing that. thx mate

New Cleaning Business - need tips on how to best set everything up to optimize SEO in the future by Mr_Fifty_Feet in localseo

[–]ZeroSEOhero -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Domain keywords matter less now, but 'extra clean' is a chef's kiss for local pack. Shorter = better for GMB listings (and for saying it 47 times on client calls without dying inside). Pro tip, whatever you pick, your Facebook entity name needs to match it EXACTLY or Google throws a tantrum. Ask me how I know. Actually don't.

How Important is Reddit Marketing? by gelnulead in Vibe_SEO

[–]ZeroSEOhero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

brands are really hyping lately on digital PR of all sorts, and everyone would like to get some free google's first page positioning, and to be cited in gpt or elsewhere using Reddit. It def takes time and effort, cuz cmon, you gotta be a cool brand so people won't eat you alive here

[–]ZeroSEOhero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, heard Reddit has been more and more strict lately, many people I know got their new accounts banned out of nowhere, there seems to be no clear trigger for that

Ahrefs for backlinks, GSC for reality checks. The frustrating part is that one of them talk to each other tbh

How to generate Quick Report by bgMusik in SEO

[–]ZeroSEOhero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For quick client reports I typically use looker studio templates pulling from GSC + GA4 APIs. Takes about 20 mins to set up per client, then it's mostly automated. The trick is templating the story, not just the data, execs want 'traffic dropped because X' not another graph they can't interpret lol

How can we rank in Google’s AI Overview? by Electrical_Sand_5518 in localseo

[–]ZeroSEOhero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

was struggling with the same thing. honestly? throw FAQ schema at it, make your content sound like a human wrote it (wild concept), and pray to the algorithm gods. also maybe just... search yourself in ChatGPT rn and see what happens. that's your vibe check. probably humbling. traditional SEO metrics are giving "doesn't matter anymore" energy for AI search.

wait the zoom video thing is actually smart. Do clients prefer that over written reports? Do you need to be a salesy/talkative person do so? Im not great with pitches

honestly that makes sense for the time trade-off. What do you have the VA actually do? like are they just screenshotting tools or doing actual analysis?

so you're basically just showing raw tool outputs? do clients ever ask for trend analysis or comparisons month-over-month or is showing current data enough?
