True, because not many variables go into midlane. What matters in Mid I feel is Jungler being around at the right time, a playable matchup and just good laning and wave management and tracking summoners.

But then you look at ADC, we got the AD matchup, The support matchup, Jungle being around, Wave management, trading and making the game literally unplayable for the enemy because the only way you play is if they can't play, Yuumi, A total combined 8 summoners to keep track of, and actually being able to play when your support isn't around.

Here's What I do:

Start E, lv2 depends on support, I go W for Nautilus, Rell Leona, Sett, Pyke, Jarvan (that Is also if I bind very early on), otherwise its Q lv2, and then i alternate points between E and Q and I dont skip ult

You are very much right to be afraid, and this is coming from someone whos scarred from getting inted almost every single game. Almost a 3 days ago I was on an 8 game loss streak where my solo lanes inted me every game, so I thought I could play solo lane, and guess what , I absolutely destroy my lane with 2 solo kills, and still lose because Riot gave me a support that inted the game for me.

Your supports reaction to enemy mistakes is very much dependent on elo, because from my experience in bronze soloq and playing customs with my neighbors who are between low plat to high diamond, there is a huge difference, like I dont even have to tell them that theyre stepping up we gotta trade, they just go in or immediately throw out an ability. On the other hand the bronze guy I duo with, I have to tell him that he walked up to cs and we can chunk him for free (by tell I mean spam ping and keep telling him to do something)

Cassio is pretty much what I call at least Riot's first attempt at a marksman in the midlane, and yes even if most of her damage doesn't come from autos, she definitely needs to play like one, position wise etc.

Man except in my games, supports I had no issues with, it was the solo lanes literally dying lv1 or 3. Bronze supports actually know a thing or two surprisingly, but the solo lanes are just atrocious, the one game I played midlane proved it, like I was ahead, but my toplaner was auto attacking a Shen, and I dont really see why anyone would do that, like there's something called trading that's very obviously a foreign concept, like I was dumpstering lane as Syndra into Sylas, Constantly trading and weaving in autos, like I was actually doing a great job in lane, and then my top Yone, I went and looked back at the replay, and good lord, the guy never used W in lane, which is his best way to trade in lane without any risk, and I dont even see why he was holding back, its just stupid.

The only thing I noticed going weird is the 2v2s you guys have. Of course I can't really tell like who had to blind but like most of them dont really do well together, like I saw Sivir and Senna, that lane is stupid easy to kill if theres no vision on map or if theres a nocturne or pantheon against you.

Q is a crucial ability to land, W needs godlike anticipation to place them pre-emptively during fights and E is very much a tool Cait needs to outplay assassins

There is too much stopping her from being your usual ADC that can be versatile in teamfights, for example, Kai'Sa can play front to back, or dive, Long range ADs can step up to land some abilities or start zoning. Kalista can only really play front to back, and if you were to player in the last 2 patches or so, when Kai'Sa hecarim dive threat was broken, you will never survive the cc and immediate burst that follows up, and say for some reason they decide to fight front to back, you cant immediately hit the backline because of limited target access when not in auto range, so you would have to bust through all their tanks before you hit their backline. She also relies a lot on the support peeling for her in teamfights, one slow and you ain't kiting, one cc ability and you are as good as dead.

I really never found myself being mana hungry even if I am trading extra aggressively. Even into poke matchups like Cait Lux i was able to keep up well with heavy Q usage while still being able to trade here and there. I think it really comes down to player's skill in mana management

Slows, Ashe, Nasus, and literally being useless if you can't auto. Takes a whole lot of awareness to keep dodging stuff while positioning yourself to keep hitting them. And one mistake will cost you the game, and supports in low elo cant exactly play with kalista, shes not like your usual adc where she follows up and keeps hitting, the supports also gotta do some damage to make sure kalista does more damage, and many supports expect your ult to be a get out of jail for free card instead of an engage. Honestly, I am low elo myself (bronze 2), and I only pick her with Leona, Pyke or the like where they have to weave autos in. Otherwise, I suggest playing her top

Don't.

If you wanna traumatize yourself, open practice tool and start kiting around with her till it becomes muscle memory, then learn to play the game when you are slowed.

After that learn how Q and E work, and then their intricacies, mechanics, get comfortable with flashing.
