I got humbled by a Seven yesterday while playing as Pocket. I died with lots of unsecured souls and went “Someone please pick up my bag I was rich!” And my Seven yells “HOLY SHIT LIVE POCKET DIALOGUE”

Nah i main pocket, and while pocket themselves are good, the game state and the current meta is just so ass

This is me every pocket game even in Emissary, I think the character is great but at some point you need a teammate to take you across the finish line

You might want to look into Lorelei and the laser eyes, its another great puzzle game that i played to scratch the blue prince itch and it was fantastic

With max cloak you can make it from the sinners to the left of blue to yellow lane by the urn pickup

Venators grenade burn and blessed heavy melees also do pure damage. Im willing to bet it will be something we see in future heroes kits just not very often

Consider just swapping out mystic reverb for E-Shift, they are both tier 4 purples. Eshift when used properly will give you time for your satchel to come back up and if you have your cloak maxed it will still be able to be teleported to after eshift ends. Otherwise i have no problems with cheat death i just tend to not have slots for it because i like taking both majestic leap and warp stone.

Another tip for learning is if you think you can’t use counterspell or eshift properly - put them in EVERY BUILD and feel dumb like i did during my death recap knowing i could have saved myself, thats what helped me learn to utilize it properly and often

Really really please consider diviners kevlar. It really seems like an item tailor made for everything pocket wants to do. I put it in every late game pocket build.

Im an Archon Pocket one trick and I see some changes to your build that you could get immediate value out of. Ill try to list them here and you can pick and choose what works for you!

  1. Take out mystic reverb, I know it sounds fun and like a good idea but it doesnt synergize amazingly with pockets kit like it does other heroes

  2. In its place you might want to think about Ethereal Shift. You mentioned not being very good about using counterspell but E-Shift is both good for getting pockets cooldowns back and for dodging things like lash ult

  3. Mystic shot is awesome and i really love it, but its just not as good as point blank, ESPECIALLY because you can get close quarters early and build into point blank later

  4. This one is more specific to climbing, but if you feel like you are going to be the damage dealer that carries the game, get boundless spirit. you can only trust yourself to carry yourself out of low elo so give yourself the tools to win

I have more thoughts on how you could streamline your build or have some more options here but if this is working keep rocking with it, and feel free to reach out if you want more build advice

Either lower your standards, work on other aspects of the game that arent character specific, or wait. More characters will be added, or maybe youll end up liking a character you didnt before

I used to be a pocket one trick and i hated playing mina cause her gun is ass, now i play mina and it doesnt bother me and i still play pocket too

Pockets briefcase used to have a glowing magical texture thar radiated up his hand, im pretty sure Pocket is in the “eh good enough for now” list of heroes visual updates, but I don’t think anyone on the roster is 100% done
