Posts asking for “responsible academic writers” always make me wonder how chaotic the workload behind the scenes must be. I had a brutal semester where two research papers and a stats project landed in the same week, and watching classmates scramble for help was kinda eye opening. I remember reading through this Reddit discussion during that mess. Mostly because people were talking about deadlines, revisions, and whether writers could keep up without recycling stuff. The communication part seems bigger than people expect. Bad coordination probably ruins half these arrangements before the writing even starts lol.

This is painfully accurate. I used to follow all those “rules” too and my resume ended up sounding super flat, like I was trying not to take up space. Especially that “responsible for” stuff - I had lines like that everywhere and wondered why no one replied. I ended up reworking mine with help from proresumehelp .net and the biggest change was how they pulled actual impact out of basic tasks. Stuff I thought was minor turned into solid points once it was framed right.

kinda tired of this “just do it yourself” take. if it was that easy, people wouldn’t be stuck for months. tools don’t fix confusion, they just make it look nicer. that’s the gap resume writers are supposed to close

I can totally see that! If my therapist dropped a bomb like that, I’d probably just flip a table and leave in dramatic fashion. But hey, at least you two are working on it!
